My Vincent Price Collection I and III arrived today and I feel lucky that they managed to come unharmed given how the box looked. The only protection it had on the inside was being wrapped in the slightly thicker brown paper. Pictures in the spoilers below.

Anyone have any idea on how to smooth the back of the cover of the third collection? I don't know why the front looks fine but the back doesn't.

So far buying Shout titles through Amazon, the blurays/items have come in pristine packaging. Overall, is Amazon better in terms of receiving packaging than through Shout Factory?

I preordered a bunch of Scream/Shout titles from DiabolikDVD today...

For September:

The Fog 4K
Evil Dead 2013 4K
Army of Darkness 4K
Platoon 4K

For October:

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure 4K
The Return of the Living Dead 4K
The Last Detail 4K

I will be ordering the Halloween 1995-2002 box set, but I am going to hold off until next payday to do so.

I want Cool World as well, but it has been delayed a time or two, so I'm going to wait until it is actually a thing before I pull the trigger.


Finally, I preordered the below three a long time ago from DiabolikDVD, but they are tied up in delays and should ship this month sometime.

I have ordered several times directly from Shout as well as from Amazon and both work fine. I have never had a damaged item directly from Shout, they use a box and pack it well with printed Shout paper. Even Steelbooks arrive without damage. Amazon is always great if you need to make a return but tis better to not need to...

I think it depends, but I had better luck with Amazon than Shout! Factory themselves so far (given how banged up my package from Shout! came on Wednesday. Luckily the blu-ray collections I got were in near-perfect condition.) It was probably more the fault of USPS than Shout!, but their packaging could've been better to help avoid the banging up that ensued before it got to me.

Shout shipped out their She Creature posters in a bubble wrap envelope which of course ended up causing damage. They definitely needed to use cardboard backers around the posters if they plan on shipping this way.

I wish they had my blu-rays bubble wrapped in my package. All they did was use some of that brown packaging paper wrapped around them in a bigger box than necessary, both of which that allowed it to get banged up on the way to me. I feel like I got lucky that my sets had minimal damage on the just the outer packaging of the blu-rays instead of it all being smashed to smithereens.

Always remember to check your Shout discs for scratches.

I found a good amount of the newer Scream Factory 4K releases included in this one, e.g. The Craft, Dog Soldiers, Happy Death Day 1 and 2, Lifeforce, Fire in the Sky (Blu-ray). Also has some of Scream's older catalog titles in there too.
