Probably not unless they found original elements. Cmac strongly suggested that they, along with the Halloween TV scenes, may have been trashed.

It’s a good movie. I checked out based on a review I’d read. I don’t think it’s quite as brilliant as the reviewer did but it’s still definitely a great watch.

So with Shocktober coming to a close, I’m curious - does anyone have any Contemporary Horror recommendations? I find I know all about the catalog releases but a lot of these modern indie films don’t seem to get talked about much.

I’d recommend:
Autopsy of Jane Doe
Fender Bender
Ghost Stories
Pyewacket

I'm extremely picky with modern horror, but I really liked The Autopsy of Jane Doe. Another one I'd highly recommend, even though it's not released by Shout, is Last Shift.

I blind bought a copy of Who's Child Am I? from Dark Force and it arrived today. Looking at the cover got me thinking about Godsend, another evil kid movie that Shout released on DVD which I thought was great. I'd love to see Godsend hit Blu-ray. Kinda wondering why it hasn't already.

I have exactly the same question on Halloween.

And on this UHDs, still have slipcases:

• The Sword And The Sorcerer
• They Live
• The Howling
• Krampus: The Naughty Cut
• Prince Of Darkness

I wish SF be clear on that, yes I know... "the first months includes slipcase bla bla..." but I mean 100% clear on his web site "w/Slipcase".

Of Unknown Origin is great with the right expectations. It's intended to be a dark comedy.

It did hit blu ray. Scream released it as a double feature with The Outing (The Lamp). I believe is OOP now though.

I know I haven't updated page 1 in a few years (I swear I will one of these days!) but it's still a great place to start for titles and then just read through the thread as there is a ton of great discussion and recommendations.

Kinda bummed. I logged in today on payday to place my order. For some reason one of the movies I wanted is no longer in the sale. When I looked on the site earlier in the week, The Body Snatchers was 15.00. I added everything to my cart again and now the Body Snatchers is no longer included on the sale. It was now 23.99.
Is that usual for a title to be removed from the sale mid sale? I still placed an order for the other titles, but I was really looking forward to getting that one as it seems to be almost 30 on most of the online shops.

Scream factory if you guys are in these forums like kino Lorber is could you please look into getting the rights to the evil dead 1 and 2 and do a new uhd Dolby vision transfer of them and release them as part of a evil dead trilogy uhd box set.

They have a certain allotment of each title at the sale price. Once they’ve sold through that the price reverts back
