Yup, I've been doing most of my ordering from Orbitdvd over Diabolik due to the expediency. There's just some stuff I can't get from one or the other.

Maybe it has something to do with their new venture in acquisitions and restoration. There's only so much a two man operation can undertake. I don't order as much from them - just the occasional unique edition.

Dear Scream Factory,
In the event you’re working on or planning to work on a 4K re-release of Wes Craven’s Shocker, PLEASE try to assemble and restore the original, uncut version. Craven has said in interviews that the movie took numerous attempts before the MPAA would finally approve it for an R rating (13 tries, allegedly). I’m sure Universal kept the footage. I will 100% double dip for the full uncut version. Please make this happen!

Leigh Whannell tweeted this evening about participating in an upcoming special edition of Dead Silence. He didn't mention Scream Factory (or any label in particular) but it sure does seem like a Scream title to me.

No shirts will ship until December; all movie orders will ship separately when they're ready.

You can probably forget about that. Their 4K releases of Lifeforce and Army of Darkness only included the theatrical versions in 4K, and the director's cuts of those movies are likely in much better shape than the cut footage from Shocker (if it even exists anymore). If the footage does resurface, it would very likely be relegated to the special features.

I received my Return of the Living Dead 4K and the UHD is scratched to hell with deep circular rings. Another day at Scratch Factory. Sent them a message to get the replacement process going.

I'm still not sure why this is so much more common with UHDs than BRs.

I know that I am in the minority, but I am still buying blu most of the time. There are too many problems, freezes and glitches with 4k. It is too much a pain in the ass to deal with. I buy the blu to be safe, and to avoid the BS.

Just got an update from Scream Factory about my Shocktober order, and they will send another email with a date of when my order will be shipped, which will be sometime next week
