Okay for real though, I’m just about tired of 4K re-releases. I love the format but can we at least mix things up month to month? Like one or two re-releases along with new titles.

As long as we get some oddball 4K upgrades in between their evergreens I won’t complain. God knows I’ll buy Pumpkinhead and Motel Hell again.

I hear that. But out of all the films you could release on disc, or even upgrade or 4K, not mentioning the thousands of movies never released on disc, they go for……Ouija? I own the Blu Ray and haven’t even watched it yet.

What a waste of a title. Just my opinion of course.

Yeah I try to champion modern horror, such as trying to buy all of Arrow’s contemporary releases, but this is like a couple steps above The Bye Bye Man. Will wait to see if they release Sinister on 4K.

Iirc Ouija 2 was also seen as a marked improvement, didn’t watch it myself. Will hold my breath.

Actually I thought Sinister was by Blumhouse/Universal like it’s sequel, but it looks like LG owns it. Still, now within the realm of possibility.

Actually quite depressing to see Scream release Ouija. There is a perfectly serviceable Blu Ray available and I’ve not seen one person request it.

Come on, Scream. Sort yourselves out and release some good stuff. Life is short. We don’t need the same crap released over and over. Give us some treasures.

Yeah, Mike Flanagan directed that one, and he's one of the best modern horror filmmakers in the business. If the release of the first film, also leads to this superior sequel (well prequel) also getting the 4K treatment, then it's worth it.

ehhh.. might upgrade DAWN OF THE DEAD...

seems to me that SCREAM is specializing in only one thing lately... re-releasing prior titles in 4k...

that's cool for some (I'm thrilled to think of PSYCHO II and III) but otherwise it's not a very exciting time for the label...

Will upgrade Dawn and Freaky but can't say I'm pumped about it...Im only doing it because I really like both and will buy into the hypothetical upgrade in pq.

I love asian martial arts films but Jackie doess nothing for me...I know not all his older stuff is goofy but I just can't deal, thats all I picture him doing.

The fact is there really isnt a ton of good horror left out there hence newish titles and the 4k stuff we are seeing.

Still a fair few decent horror titles to release. Labels are getting lazy, especially SF.

And his work his sorely underrepresented on the UHD format. So here's hoping! I bought both Ouija films on blu-ray to watch as a double feature during a previous October horror marathon. I got whiplash from the quality gap. Ouija was one of the worst films I watched that month while Origin of Evil was one of the best.

I saw it in the theater with the wife. We both shook our heads like we just got robbed. That film absolutely sucks....

My grandkids and I love Jackie Chan and I am seriously slacking on his early films. I hope these sets help me to resolve that....

The end of new releases is coming (never-on-disc, never-ob-blu) for Scream. All remaining niche horror titles will go to Vinegar Syndrome and Culture Shock
