Came here to say something very similar to Flex_MythoMass. RotLD was going to be my Halloween title (it even arrived in time!), but once the trick-or-treaters were gone and it was movie time, it turned out I was much more in the mood for The Funhouse. I hadn't seen it in quite a while, but I daresay it was even better than I remembered. And what a great looking 4k! I probably wouldn't have upgraded it if it hadn't dropped to $20, but I'm really glad I picked it up. The carnival stuff looked amazing. And I don't know if it was the 4k or the tequila (probably both), but I could not look away from Largo Woodruff's hair, lol. Gorgeous!

I ordered 4k/blu combo The Fog from Amazon and received it today. So I got no slipcover, and when I opened it it was a 1-disc blu ray copy of the old Howling/Fog double feature. The thing was professionally shrink wrapped too. Never in all my thousands of discs bought have I seen something so ****in weird.

I didn't realize there was one movie missing from the big order I received last week, Piranha 2. I received a shipping notice for it earlier this afternoon. I hope it arrives in better condition than the last movie they sent me individually. Two more orders to go.

That's really bizarre. I ordered the same movie from them last week and received it with a slip. Maybe I should open mine, too, to double-check.

Yeah i took a few..just going to return it to Amazon. I want to buy another but who the hell knows. The sleeve was as it should be but everything else was team wtf.

Received my SF sale order today:
Prince of Darkness 4K
They Live 4K
Escape From NY 4K
Halloween 4K
Halloween II 4K
Halloween III 4K

All of them had slipcovers. Pleasantly surprised that both PoD and They Live still come with slips.

It appears that they sold a lot more orders than they were initially expecting. Lots of members here placed multiple orders.

According to the sale FAQ, those shirts aren't due out until December.

Just got the bulk of my Shocktober order (everything other than the Coraline/Paranorman 4K preorders), and I have to say...I've heard plenty of complaints about the state of the discs getting sent out over the years, but I'm pretty taken aback. 7 of 10 have scuffs significant enough that I'm going to have to watch the discs in the next couple of weeks to make sure they're viewable.

Wow! Scratched discs are one thing, but I actually got a set with no discs for Scanners 2/3 Double feature from my October order. What the hell? Needless to say I sent CS an email.
