In regards to possible Warner titles, I've love to see Shout do 4k upgrades and singular releases of Spies Like Us, Frantic, and Witches of Eastwick.

Will probably pick up Creepshow 4K and Motel Hell 4K down the road, but I am definitely in for Private Parts. The Strangler also sound like something I might like.
As for the Shaw Bros. set, is there any overlap with either of the sets from Arrow, or are they completely different titles? I notice they all look to be older Shaw Bros. releases. I am not really into martial arts films (so far, knock on wood, as I am having a hard time keeping up with the stuff I am interested in as is), but a friend of mine is and is asking. |

No overlap. The Arrow sets are ‘70s-‘80s-centric, while Shout’s is oriented around the mid-to-late ‘60s.

Now let's get a proper 4K release, stateside, from Warner or Shout. Last edited by tangerinewolf; 04-10-2023 at 10:44 AM. |

I wonder what is the possibility of shout or shout select getting the rights from Paramount (here in the states) to release a 4K of D.A.R.Y.L. (1985) That would be an awesome selection.

Can't remember what thread folks were discussing the Republic Pictures catalog in over the last month or so, but do we know who has access to that library? Curious who may be able to bring us "The Carpenter" at some point. As best I could find the film hasn't had a release since VHS and I've been contemplating picking up a copy on ebay but would obviously prefer a higher quality release instead.
Also, would anyone have any insight into who has "Playroom" (1989)? I watched Scream Factory's release of "Dr. Giggles" today and the excellent interview with Manny Cotto and he spoke briefly about that film and now I'd be curious in checking it out as it sounds fun. That Dr. Giggles release is also great for those that haven't yet picked it up. Looks and sounds good and the film was much more enjoyable then I remembered. Definite easy recommendation from me on that one. |

Would love to see definitive editions of Peter Hyams' Outland and 2010. Both underrated and minor masterpieces of fairly hard sci-fi.
