I would sell the souls of my future children if it meant Scream Factory would release even bare-bones BD's of Salem's Lot (the complete mini-series version from 1979)and The Night Stalker (1972).

No, Natalie is supposedly a big fan and has been adamant about it. She was originally going to produce the film, as well as star in it, even after Black Swan.

But she is no longer involved, and because Argento hates the idea along with some rights issues. But now, I think Dimension has fully scrapped the plan.

I am really looking forward to The Burning and The Town That Dreaded Sundown. The menus, that Scream posted on Facebook, look great. Also, I'd love to see Scream release Neon Maniacs and Final Terror on DVD or Blu Ray.

These titles would likely be perfect for Blu-Ray Double Features, many have a decent assortment of special features already ready courtesy of Code Red DVD, and I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to work something out with Code Red DVD, since AFAIK they don't release their titles on Blu-Ray (yet).
I doubt Code Red will do any business with anyone else at this time.

Walter, not to change the subject but is Bill doing ok? Someone at Latarnia posted that he is sick and not doing well? I went to check on his store and noticed that it has been down for over a day. I was hoping it was since he was adding new titles that were supposed to arrive this week. Hope all is well and that whatever is ailing him comes to an end soon with a speedy recovery.

Both you and your brother do a great job with those really rare cult titles. I'm hoping that you both have long and lucrative careers and keep releasing more and more movies!

I would love to have these as well...but both of these titles have been asked for and aren't happening at this time...

hopefully some day down the road... SALEM'S LOT is my favorite TV movie of all time btw!

Hi, well I found out he went to the emergency room earlier, so I called him on his cell phone, and he was complaining they wount let him go home, and that they refuse to give him pain killers, and somehow the conversation turned into "complainers on the web" he hanged up, or one of the nurses took the phone away from him.

As for the second comment, I kinda hope not for him, he needs at least 6 month off from his Code Red business, for some rest and relaxation IMHO.

If he needs it, the fans can wait. If it is for his own good.

A lot of people disagree, but I image this specific type of business is very stressful for all involved. Best wishes to you both.

To be clear though, Code Red does still have the rights to the Blu-Ray edition of Final Exam?
I would love to see that get the treatment from either of you guys.

Yes that's no good. It seems like Bill takes the brunt of a lot of pointless complaints on the web. I can never understand why, but then again reading a lot of the complaints on all of these boards sometimes makes my head spin.
It is apparent how hard Bill works and how much he truly cares for the films he releases. I can see on here how upset Cliff seems to be getting when he works so hard on a Scream Factory release to have a million complaints about goofy stuff right away.

Granted it is feedback non the less and should be taken as that, I can imagine that when you work so hard on a title it almost feels like it's your baby and it must hurt to hear that people hate the cover or thought the extras should have been better or the transfer should of cost more etc.

We keep telling Bill to ignore some of those trolls on the net but I think he just gets so involved with what the jerks say.

There are so many people who truly love his output and product. I'm one of them. When I saw he was going to the online store and direct, I've made sure to buy almost all of his releases to show my support for what he does.

I truly hope he can figure out a way to hear the annoying comments of people but turn them off at the same time. Trying to reason with some of the\ crazies on the net that complain to him is enough to make anyone get sick or get goofy. We wish him the best and let him know that we are always rooting for him.

I'm not sure about the souls of my future children but I'm willing to pay a small fortune for a fully remastered copy of HELL NIGHT on Blu-ray.

That artwork always makes me laugh, it looks like the whale is laughing with blood coming out of it's mouth, like a Disney attempt at a horror movie or something .

I think it is my favorite artwork because it is so funny looking. I mean really? I killer whale seeks revenge because you killed its mate? I mean it could happen but it makes for great b-type horror. Plus it has the late great Sir Richard Harris so that makes is a plus in my book.

I'm tempted to get the Japanese version but would much rather see a company like Scream get it. It is Paramount so I don't see that happen.
