Plus, doesn't WB handle distribution for MGM's films now? Should be much easier now to release it as well.

I'm behind on Scream Factory/Shout Factory stuff at the moment, because I've been spending a ton of money on concerts and vinyl records this year.

I bought The Haunting of Julia 4K at a Best Buy not long ago, but that's the only thing recent from the past few months.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll never be able to keep up with the 4K UHD announcements, and that I'll make do with my existing standard Blu-rays of such films, but I would love to pick up Creepshow and Night of the Comet in the format.

The Irwin Allen: Master of Disaster box set and The Pack are the most exciting things that have been announced in a long while. I will definitely be ordering them in a few weeks.

These exclusives look fun, especially School Spirit, but I'm going to hold off for now.

Never heard of Lords of the Deep, but that cover looks pretty awesome. How does it compare to Leviathan and Deepstar Six?

I'd call it the worst of the late 80's underwater flicks....free to watch on Tubi if you're interested.
Even The Rift is waaaay better lol

So many of their limited releases seem like movies that would have been amongst their regular releases in the past. It's really a shame they are being limited this way.

We all want The Abyss. If we get it, there will be so many hoops to jump through. It belonged to the 20th Century Fox catalogue, which is now with Disney. They'd also need James Cameron on hand with the upgrade.

Things are looking quite bleak with Disney physical media. This morning, they announced the discontinuation of Disney Movie Club in Canada effective October (final order for September placement.) Most likely a method to coerce members to join Disney+ instead. BestBuy Canada has not listed any Disney titles for several months.

I can get along just fine without Disney Movie Club or Disney +, they are sorely mistaken if they think they're coercing me into joining anything of theirs.

That's fine and I respect your position. The point I was making is The Abyss in an official HD format will require Disney and Cameron's involvement.

Tubi had a nice HD transfer which is where I first saw it. It's definitely not a Leviathan or Deepstar Six type film. More like The Abyss with no budget.

I'd buy School Spirit if Shout knocked $10 off that outrageous price for a bare bones blu-ray release. These were overpriced at $26.99 and they inflated it $3 more because, ya know, it's LiMiTeD.

They need to do a double feature of American Cyborg Steel Warrior and Apex. I would buy that instantly!

I'm still waiting on Guyver 2 Dark Hero to be released in Blu ray someday. But it seems to never happen, also want the live action Fist Of The North Star to one day get the Blu ray treatment

My wishes are probably way down the radar of others... I want HD upgrades of the remaining Killer Tomatoes films.

These 2 films. They'd be great as a Blu-ray Double Feature.
Killer Tomatoes Strike Back! (1991)

Killer Tomatoes Eat France! (1992)

I would also love an official release of the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Animated Series (1990-1991).

There was a display at a convention I went to when Eat France was being promoted.

So one of the SF founders says peace out and they release 4 site exclusives in one day, all part of their new marketing strategy I'm sure.

I wouldn't say LOTD is terrible. I don't recall it being boring at all. Is it Leviathan or Deepstar six? No but I think their budget was significantly less than those. Is it overpriced? Yes, but all their exclusives are. If VS released this it would also be their now standard $30 with slip price point, except unlike VS titles these will never go on sale. I know the film and will grab it while it's available. They've released far worse exclusives. Also this was never even released on DVD, this is its first home video release since VHS, massive upgrade and includes the MST3k episode.
