Same, utterly ridiculous it's vinyl or download only. I heard a lot of his previous releases were warped and unplayable, hence heavy discounts after release.

It'll also be available on CD from the label that's releasing it (and released the first volume too).

Sacred Bones has a pretty dicey track record with their vinyl output, so I'd honestly stick with digital or CD.

So, it leaves me to speculate the possibility that it's for the 2003 film, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and is with Warner, so SF could probably license it for 4K.
I’ll try not to get too excited but… I’m excited.

With it looking like TCM 2003 is getting a UHD I hope Scream takes a punt and releases all the sequels & remakes ECT on UHD. I think with the new TCM game bringing new interest to the franchise, you will get the same as what happened with Friday The 13TH,a younger generation played the game, loved the IP & wanted to watch the movies so bought the Scream boxset.

I would be happy if those leaks were real as I could use a break and none of them are ones I'd like. August/Sept/October have been absolutely crazy packed with releases.

Any updates on Scream Factory doing a 4K of Romero’s ‘Day of the Dead (1985)’?

It would seem kind of random to just release DW3, but the first 2 already have 4K releases, and Kino just announced 4 and 5 for BD, so it's really the only one that seems possible for 4K, if something is in fact even coming out.
If they're doing Death Wish 3 4k they should do a Neca Bronson figure a la Stevie Wayne.

And this rumour also involves Second Sight working on a 4K? The latest release of Nightbreed is 4K but they didn’t need the OCN?

I think the elements SF used for their 2013 BR were very good, not too sure if that was the IP or the Inter-Neg. Either way, hopefully they get the OCN if Second Sight hasn’t already. But I do think SF’s 2013 release did have the best color correction and overall PQ of any of the DOTD releases, best cover art as well.

Really disappointed with Shout's customer service as of late.
I spent over 200 dollars on their shout select sale.
Both jackie chan sets had severe scratches. I e-mailed on the 16th and have yet to get a response.
Are they that backed up? Usually I get a response within a few days.
It's one thing that literally every order from them lately has discs that look like they were dragged on concrete, but now they seem like they aren't even going to deal with it.
I'm getting better with scratches, I even made sure to measure them to see if they qualify for replacement. These scratches go the length of the disc from hub to end...I'd say those meet their guidelines.
If they are getting annoyed with the customers complaining about scratches, maybe all the companies need to go down to this plant and inquire about WTF is going on.
I'd imagine that all of the companies are losing a ton of money in scratched disc returns.

I love the restorations and titles that Shout puts out, but why is it their discs that seem to be the worst? Does this pressing plant really dislike them?
I used to look forward to getting new titles in the mail, but I feel that now it just seems tense and stressful as now who knows if the discs will even be playable.

Has anyone else lately had trouble with getting a response?

Yep, details and all were mentioned by Second Sight reps in some podcasts. The 2013 BD IIRC used an IP that Shout had.

Nightbreed is a strange one since Shout only uses OCN for 4k HDRs, yet the longer cut supposedly exists on the OCN while the Theatrical cut was an IP.

Texas Chainsaw 2003 4K would be massive. Really hope that's coming.

It's a cat fight getting help from them anymore. IF you like combative customer service, buy Shout!

I emailed them this past weekend about a scratched disc and have yet to hear back.

So if the recent Nightbreed 4K used the IP, and the 2013 SF of Day also used an IP, technically they could re-use that, but are choosing not to?

From memory that 2013 release looked great, but I guess SF have their reasons for wanting the elements they want.
