I am going to be spending pretty much every week through September on pins and needles hoping for some sort of info to leak regarding the elm Street series and a potential collectors quality release. I've been wanting to revisit all of those films for a while now but keep hoping that we'll have some information soon of a potential 4k or deluxe collectors edition set and so have put off rewatching those films for the time being.

In terms of features, you're probably right. However, it will look better as all of Shout's WB films get fresh remasters. So if you're looking for the best viewing experience it will probably be this release.

the BEST of what they have coming out for me is FUNERAL HOME, THE TERMINAL MAN, TELEFON, and ST. IVES... the rest are dollar store offerings....

Just woke up, and saw that one on Amazon too haha. The leaks came from Canada, where SF won't be releasing it, I assume.

Very good month in terms of new acquisitions. 5 of the 6 titles are new to SF. The 4K releases also have a nice variety, and are coming from 3 different studios (MGM, Paramount, and Sony). And the two BD releases are Warner DVD upgrades, which is always great to see.

So do these poorly-received horror remakes sell well on 4K for Shout? Genuine question, not a judgment of the films or their quality
