I plan on hanging them in my office eventually. I just have to get some new shelving for the basement so I move the collection of movies I have up here down there.

There was a post pretty far back with details of the settlement. Maybe someone has a link to it? Anyway, neither version of Not of This Earth, along with titles like Deathrace 2000 and Slumber Party Massacre 3, were among the list of movies they’re currently allowed to release.
I wonder if it's the same reason we haven't seen Watchers yet? The sequel was released as a site exclusive a while ago but still nothing about the first movie, which is really disappointing. Personally, it's the last of the Corman movie I really wanted that hasn't gotten a release yet. Although, I wouldn't say no to Carnosaur haha. Saw it when it was released but honestly don't remember a thing about it and i'd be intrigued in watching it again.

I heard it a little while back on the grapevine, but with rapta mentioning it in the UK forums, it now seems to be in the public domain that Cliff has left Shout to take up a position at Arrow (head of acquisitions). I was expecting some kind of announcement but then Cliff always struck me as a quiet guy.

It's surely a huge get for Arrow (could it finally land them a WB deal?); I just hope that Shout/Scream don't suffer as a consequence. Without Cliff and Jeff, I'm not sure who would be running Scream Factory these days. Let's hope they have the same knowledge and passion to keep the line going for years to come.

According to Linkedin, he left Scream in November.

Yeah, I asked Cliff a Shout question a few months ago via PM and he told me he no longer worked there which surprised me. It hadn’t been mentioned like Jeff so I didn’t want to spill the beans. Glad to hear he landed somewhere else.

If you're reading this Cliff (cmac), thanks for everything you did for Shout! and Scream Factory, and best of luck at Arrow.

I said it previously, but September/October is going to be interesting to see what Scream has in store. They've exhausted most of their major horror titles, and are pretty quickly exhausting their blu to 4k upgrades. Should be good for NEW titles, but I really wonder what they could put out in the Fall to make a splash.

Halloween is done, Chucky is done, they can't seem to get Nightmare, Hellraiser is with Arrow (mostly), Psycho sequels could be a possibility, but I get that market is low now with Arrow's set. Maybe Friday the 13th 4Ks, or maybe just more random upgrades.

There are still five Halloween films left they could do, though two of them probably aren’t happening. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually do something for the Blumhouse films.

Paramount has 3-9 iirc, so they could explore that route. Deader has been out of print for a while.

While it probably COULD happen, I don't forsee the Blumhouse films any time soon. They all have perfectly fine, readily available 4K editions for VERY cheap. I don't see anyone involved doing extras aside from some ancilary people, so I don't see what use it would be for them to release them, as the market isn't really there.

Horror sells and all, I just don't see it happening for quite a few years.

The Hellraiser Direct to DVD films would sell pretty bad too, I don't see a market for them (I probably would though).

I’m still naively hoping that they finally announce Nightmare on Elm Street for the 40th anniversary this fall. I’ve held off watching the franchise for a few years now but at this point I’m watching the series regardless this Halloween even if it means pulling out the WB Blu-ray’s.

I'm fond of Inferno (Scott Derrickson's first film), though even that one is rough in places. The others, however, are awful. Ashley Laurence once said something to the effect that her fee for Hellseeker was just enough for her to buy a new refrigerator.

Like the Children of the Corn sequels that were also made to retain the film rights, I can't imagine there's much resell value in these films (the latest one that debuted on Hulu, which I liked, excepted).

^ I actually dig Hellworld, it's a slick stupid fun Dimension Films teen slasher flick that turns Pinhead into Jason or Michael Myers, hacking up hot "teenagers" with a meatcleaver and hanging them on meathooks. Also of note for featuring a young Henry Cavill among the victim pool.

Other than that, all the Hellraiser sequels after IV: Bloodline are pretty wretched, at least until the recent Hulu remake.

Also thanks to Cliff for his earlier work with BCI/Eclipse and Navarre. Back then, he promoted the releases of quite a few obscure titles from the Crown International library.

Yeah, he's always done great work. I'm hoping he brings a few Japanese titles to Arrow from his BCI days which he did do a couple for with Shout. Either way, Arrow should be in safe hands. I'm more curious about Shout's future in terms of title selection.

Don't get your hopes to high, Warner will most likely just release the first film on 4K.
