Just thought I'd update everyone. They did get back to me after a couple days and asked for a picture of the damaged disc. I sent them one and they told me to give them at least two weeks to send a replacement. They also told me they were in the office only two days a week.

I gave them a month and hadn't gotten anything. So I emailed them last week and they got back to me, thanking me for waiting and saying that the disc had already been mailed out.

I got it 2 days later. It didn't come with a new cage/slipcover package. The only sent the 4k disc and put it in a cardboard cd type case. Kind of like when Netflix used to email DVD's to people. I don't mind though, the disc is in good shape so I'm happy.

Now that I've got it, I'll probably buy a 4k of Willy's Wonderland soon.

Lost In Space would had made an excellent 4K presentation. The movie is underrated in my opinion. Superb sound and soundtrack, great acting (cast) and really nice effects. Maybe down the road but what Shout had here was a potential stellar 4K release, what a missed opportunity.

So what branding is Lost in Space going to fall under? It's clear that it is not a Shout Select title, but surely it's not planned for the Scream Factory slate right? I assume it's just a standard Shout Studios release but if so, that leaves only two Scream Factory Announcements which means that there are still likely 2-3 more waiting to be found amongst the leaks as I can't remember the last time that the Scream Factory lineup only had 2 titles announced.

Everything's up (with one exception) on shoutfactory.com. Aside from a Sesame Street DVD, everything that's up was leaked, so no surprise reveals.

However, The Faculty isn't listed. Doesn't show up as an upcoming release or in search. I wonder if that one is just lagging behind for whatever reason (and could show up any minute) or if the schedule might've shifted.

It did get listed at Deep Discount this morning along with the other titles. It's also in Amazon's internal system, though a placeholder page hasn't been added yet, unlike the others. It's their biggest title by far for April, so it would be unfortunate if they had to hold it back. They're still announcing stuff on social media, so I guess we'll see.

Lost in Space is Scream Factory. It does have some horror moments in it I suppose.

The spider creatures were a little creepier than standard BEM type aliens, I don't have an issue with Scream having it.

Though I’d prefer 4K, cool to see on the spec pages that Lost in Space and Affliction are getting new 2K scans…Affliction from the “original film elements” and Lost in Space from the Interpositive.

Tenacious D, Quigley Down Under, Over the Edge, Rolling Thunder, and Affliction are all collectors editions that don't seem to have slipcovers. I wonder if they are moving away from them. Or if they finally got sick of people returning them for dings.

None of those are Collector's Editions, just your standard Shout Select releases. Generally speaking though, Shout Select CE's are less likely to have slips, while a Scream Factory CE will almost always (if not always) have one.

I guess I always viewed Shout Select as a collector's line.

The Faculty was now removed from DD. Also taken down at B&N as well. Hopefully it's just postponed a month, and not cancelled

Target still has their pre-order up: https://www.target.com/p/the-faculty...a/-/A-91082189

Nice for fans of these ones. I really want somebody to do The Grudge remakes to sit next to my Arrow UK set of the originals.

Has there been any word about further Shaw Bros releases from Shout after Vol 4 and the Ti Lung/David Chiang collection? I didn't think so but haven't been keeping up with the release schedule.
