Nothing at present, and since it’s known Arrow have more Shawscope sets coming I don’t know if we can expect any further outright boxes from Shout, though I’d like to be surprised. I’m leaning more towards random singles from all labels, like we know Vinegar Syndrome have their first Shaw coming later this year.

That's what I figured. Of course I'm excited for Corpse Mania and Shawscope 3 and 4!

So the 4K of THE RING TWO will only be the PG-13 theatrical version and the superior Unrated version will only be on Blu from an existing master. That kinda sucks.

Those are missing then, though not a big deal. Maybe someone can let them know. They did add the Zombie Town Hall featurette to their WWZ 4K even though it wasn't listed when they announced the rest of the extras.

(the Creepiest Moments clips will probably have licensing issues since it includes scenes from the Japanese films, but it's just film clips so who needs it?)

Speaking of Scream Factory any good Blu Rays that I should buy? I own Alligator, Bad Moon, Razorback, dog soldiers, Orca the Killer Whale, The Howling 4K UHD plus Blu Ray, Night of the comet, Cobra, and The Ghost and the Darkness. I'm Planning on buying Nightmare at Noon, Crimewave, Eight Legged Freaks, and Pirahna in 4k UHD at some point this year most likely March to be honest with you. Any other titles I should pick up no cannibal horror please not my genre and I really don't like that type of horror. As there's a number of titles I'm interested in minus the cannibal horror stuff. Also not the biggest fan of the Halloween films minus the third one which I consider to be very underrated.

Also just ordered Nightmare at Noon only had to pay 18 dollars on Amazon and it will be coming the same day as Surviving the Game two Shout Factory movies arriving on the same day that's crazy. I'm going to wait on the others for now though as I'm going to be cutting back on Blu Rays later this month and not buy as much and mostly spreading out the months with pre orders.

Carrie? Creepshow? I also think The Sentinel is overlooked or disregarded. It's a very effective horror film.

I wonder who took over for Cliff @ Shout. Hopefully it's someone equally into horror movies as Cliff and Jeff were. I'm excited about Arrow's future under Cliff's acquisition leadership.

I added imports of Howling IV, V and VI to my collection and enjoyed them immensely, particularly Rebirth (Part 5). My first impressions of these films were NOT positive all those years ago but these new releases shined a new light on the films and now I'm clamoring for good remasters of all three. I know at least two of these are under Timeless Media here in the States - a company Shout owns. Hopefully the label has plans for them at some point.

Curious to see who replaced him as well as I don't think it's been announced? Cliff is hard to beat though, and honestly there are only so many horror films left to release period which is why we saw a TON of different type of releases from Shout in 2023. It's been a bit more quiet so for in terms of quantity of titles from Shout in 2024 so far.

Thanks for the suggestions I ought to check these out although it's been years since I watched the original Creepshow film but I am a huge fan of the Crate segment of the film it's quite terrifying.

Those are classics I definitely need to pick these up thanks

Also, I see that you're also a Watership Down fan. Non horror title (although it is quite devastating and tragic), but you should definitely check out The Plague Dogs if you haven't already.

Yep I've read the book multiple times and own the film on DVD and Blu Ray and have seen the film multiple times too it's one of my favorite fiction books of all time and one of my favorite animated films of all time. I actually have watched Plague Dogs before it was a very hard film to watch found the entire film on YouTube it was super depressing. Still I should pick up the film on Blu Ray I'm a huge Shout Factory collector.

With Cliff's departure and the rebranding to Shout Studios I'd be surprised if their plan isn't to move away from physical media and more into production.

That actually sounds like a pretty good guess as to what may happen. I don't think they will leave physical entirely, but they seem to be shifting focus to something else for the future.
