Saw the Steelbook Battle Beyond the Stars was down to $14.99. Wasn't sure what kind of sale it might be fore, but decided to search Roger Corman, and sure enough, plenty of titles produced by him are reduced. Many store exclusives are down to just $13.49 to $14.99, by far the lowest prices to date.

So glad we still have him around! A man who truly did his own thing regardless of the industry, and was successful at it as well. Happy B-Day to you, sir!!

Possible While they do have streaming and/or theatrical only rights to a bunch of stuff (i.e. the Westchester Films catalog, which has a bunch of titles released on disc by Criterion,) I tend to doubt this is the case with the Bava titles. Scream Factory really needs some new A titles.

Hoping Shout ever can get around to the full Corman library. Feels like it would be the way to give Shout a jolt of life.

Smile The Man, The Myth, The "Birthday Boy"...

I already own pretty much everything that's currently on sale today.
However, I still felt compelled to say:

HAPPY 98TH BIRTHDAY ROGER CORMAN!

Sincerely, Mr. Corman is one of my all-time biggest personal heroes and favorite filmmakers ever!
The lineup for my weekly "Friday Night Pizza & Movies Night" will definitely be in honor/celebration of this man tonight...

Cheers to the King Of The B-Films! *CLINK!*

Like I said; give me a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Trilogy on 4K/Blu please! Would be PERFECT for the franchise's 40th anniversary this year. Excuse me for sounding like a broken record, but since we're talking New Line here...

Also, TMNT (2007) on separate 4K/Blu the same day.

You know what else makes a great tie-in; Guyver II to go with Unearthed Films' 4K of Guyver.

Definitely don’t agree with that lol. The Exorcist is a masterpiece & much better than The Omen. To this day The Exorcist is the only horror film that can still creep me out & get under my skin no matter how many times I’ve seen it.

Man I wish scream could release gremlins 2, warner doesn't seem to care too much about that movie, nor does it seem like a title they'll prioritize to bring to 4k themselves anytime soon

Personally i'm still hoping for the Howling 4 and 5. Both were released in Germany last year in great editions, feels like a no brainer for scream factory.
Same with The crawling eye, also released on blu ray in Germany last year. Although in that case I could see Kino releasing that one.
I also really wish someone would finally release the first Watchers. Scream released the second one a few years ago but still nothing on the first one...

Yeah, we need the rest of the Howling series (I'd even buy New Moon Rising).

Watched this for the first time ever this morning (Despite buying the disc way back in 2016). This was a lot of fun and deserving of more talk/praise than I feel it receives. Definitely worth checking out and it just happens to be on sale this weekend. Fun film and a great disc from the Golden Era of Scream Factory releases. The first 50 minutes or so is a pretty routine nature attacks premise, but then it goes off the rails with a revelation during the final 3rd of the film and is just a joy to watch.
