I ordered 6 discs on the first day of the 4K sale and all came scratch free. It is possible that some will arrive with issues like disc scratches or blemishes on the slipcovers, but why does everyone act like Chicken Little over this issue. Just place your order when the price fits your comfort level, review the items when they arrive and try to enjoy your movies. Crying like you just got robbed on the street has become old and tiresome. If you hate collecting movies so much, please try to start up a Pokemon card collection and save the rest of us the whining. Now, back to our "main presentation"!!

I don't think I've ever used the Smooth brain insult myself but I'll admit that I get a good chuckle pretty much every single time someone uses it. It's an insult with intelligence that cuts deeper than the usual name calling. It's also an insult that doesn't sound as insulting as it actually is.





One of my favorite insults to throw around in my offline life has been to call people heathen's. I don't do it often as it's reserved for very specific circumstances, but when I have used it, it's caused people to freak out way more than I ever anticipated it would which in turn, has also made me chuckle, as usually when I use it, it's in a passing jest and not in the form of a direct insult regarding a specific circumstance.

My 4k sale order came in yesterday.
No scratches.

Got slips for Army of Darkness,, Evil Dead 2013, Weird the Al Yankovic Story, Point Break, and Piranha.

Slumber Parry Massacre 1 and 2 didn't have one, but I'm not sure it ever did.

Yes, I don't care that much if I won't get it. It was a nice surprise the three movies came in a hardbox. I'm not into Halloween franchise that much but I think I'll get the 4th as the final movie.

Maybe we'll finally hear about that Assault on Precinct 13 4K. It's been like 2-ish years since the restoration was completed. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that I heard Deaf Crocodile worked on that one.

It's what you might call a guilty pleasure. The cheesiness is part of the fun. It owes a debt to the best Hammer film, Quatermass and the Pit (and also has elements of Queen of Blood).

Damn, pretty decent, varied lineup.

I will probably get the Bill and Ted Trilogy, or just Bogus Journey since I imported the 4Ks of 1 & 3. Probably won't watch 3 again anytime soon.

Never seen the Poltergeist sequels, so I'll blind buy 2.

Leaving a one-star TrustPilot review for Shout! comes with the risk of lifetime Shout!-store banishment, on top of being castigated by one of Shout!'s social media reps for having the audacity to complain about the receipt of damaged product.

According to Shout!, they ship out hundreds of orders per week to equal hundreds of satisfied customers who never complain, so it's your own fault if you received scratched discs or possibly a repackaged return (obviously).

Also, better break out the ruler and measure the length of the scratches on each disc before even considering emailing Shout! about replacements to preemptively determine if they're in accordance with the scratch-dimensions detailed on Shout!'s website.
