If all 3 are indeed with the same rights holder, makes you wonder why VS never released Evilspeak. Maybe they had trouble sourcing elements for the longer cut?

Yeah, it's kinda crazy how long Night90 has been confirmed to be in the works. Same goes for Assault on Precinct 13 and now with Night of the Creeps.

Like you it would have been nice to have them for Halloween, but I just want them.

If these are coming from Sony, it’s possible that their new Disney partnership is throwing a wrench into Sony’s own schedule and causing delays. I hope that’s not the case, just farm them out and be done with it.

Not necessarily. That may be just for streaming rights. You can see a number of films on there that were already released by other labels, including Donnie Darko, The Last Emperor, Time Bandits. It's possible SF may have physical rights to some on that list, but I think that particular agreement was for digital streaming.

While some of those are just things they control the streaming rights to, The Last Seduction is an ITC title, so Shout probably does have the disc rights (like Stepfather, In the Company of Wolves, etc.)

I bought the first one solely because I stumbled across it at Wal-mart and it was only $20. If this one shows up in stores as well I'll be buying it... if it doesn't show up in stores it's an easy one to pass on for a good long while.

I would not be surprised if they end up putting out the Steamboat Willie horror film I still cannot believe that is a thing after Mickey Mouse became a public domain character people decided to make crappy horror film with a guy in a costume alright I guess.

More MOD titles coming September 17th. Most notably is Man of the Year, which Shout apparently acquired. So far, I believe all of these MOD titles are those actually owned by Shout Studios, rather than stuff they're licensing from a studio for a certain period.

Don't know any of those films and wouldn't spend more than $10 on any MOD titles on Blu-ray now. Those all look like something I might've found on $5.99 racks in 2002 - yes, even the one from 2024.

You never heard of Man of the Year? It was directed by Barry Levinson, and was a fairly popular movie at the time.

Model House looks fun, but I agree. I think these should be more like $15 instead of the MSRP of $35. I know we don't usually pay MSRP for releases, but MOD shouldn't be that high to begin with.
