If we're talking Corman catalog, can we try again with his estate and see if we can get Sorority House Massacre 2, Hard to Die and The Unborn 2?

Does Amazon match the Shout sales after a while like they do with Barnes and Noble etc? Reason I ask is, I missed Upgrade when I made my order and don't want to have to put a 50 dollar order when it's the only title I want just to get free shipping.

No they do not. Amazon doesn't consider Boutique labels competition and so they instead just ignore any sales they provide.

That said... we are in the Halloween season and so Amazon may offer their own discounts this month on many of these titles as well. Some may be the same... some may be better/worse, but I would not plan on them doing anything and instead would encourage you to order through Shout if there are deals you are seeing that you like.

That depends. Is it a title on the Going OOP page? We might not be restocking those.

Is it one of our limited exclusive titles? We don't restock those once they run out. (We did it once when demand FAR exceeded our projections; don't come for me.)

If it's a newer release (and not 'limited') then we might get more in stock.

Overall, just to be safe, I would treat that "only ___ left in stock" as an accurate and permanent representation of the ultimate number of units we have left for that title.

I get that, But I'm asking about titles that are Not in the OOP section (unless that page needs serious Updating) or Limited Exclusive ones, here are some that Have what I'm talking about, and if these are truly going OOP, then I would recommend mass updating your OOP page

The Burning [Collector's Edition]
Motel Hell [Collector's Edition]
Halloween II [Collector's Edition]

if these are truly going OOP then holy hell we best get moving, if not and more will come, (like a warehouse situation) then it's fine, but thank you for responding, Have a great day

Shout has 4k's of The Burning, Motel Hell and Halloween 2 that include blu's of all films. I think Halloween 2 has a DVD.

I don't know if your 4k ready, but it's not like they are disappearing IIRC.

At least Shout includes blu's with their 4k's unlike many of the other unnamed boutique companies.

edit: Since they are not in the OOP section and there are 4k's out there.....they might be pressing more in the future or they could let the 4k's handle the load YMMV

I figured and yes I know about the 4K releases, but these are just examples, I could make a list of some more, but I don't want to bore everyone, I was just curious if these are going OOP why they aren't in the OOP section as well, even with their 4K releases having the original release they did is also great to collectors too

Well, because Shout can't answer whether or not something is going to be reprinted in the middle of a title's lifecycle. There's not enough data as to whether it would financially benefit them to reprint more. So Shout is suggesting that it's better to be cautious and treat them as if they are, especially at this price point.

Speaking of studios that aren't manufacturing BD releases with their 4K releases, I noticed the regular 4K release from Paramount of "Friday the 13th", and the "Friday the 13th Part 2" in the "Paramount Scares V2" set evidently do not come with Blu-Ray discs, too. Just the digital codes accompany these releases. It sure makes Shout's F13 BD boxset on sale right now far more justifiable.

Every one of the movies in Paramount Scares V2 includes 4K and BD both actually, the first volume on the other hand only select titles. Paramount is wildly all over the place in that regard, most of the Scream SteelBooks from them included both formats but at least one is 4K only, normally their standard is 4K only and the SteelBook of the same title may include both, but very little real consistency. It’s great that Shout still is very close to all their titles including both, the Evil Dead remake is one of the very few that is 4K only.

Good call! Missed that.

With 4K being so finicky, BD/4K combos should absolutely be the standard. I would never rely solely on a 4K release of any film.

Me too, a lot of people involved with making it, including the actors, have gone on record as having fond memories of the production.

One of the things I love about Shout/Scream Factory is that their 4Ks include a Blu Ray too and as an added bonus, remastered. I'm not a 4K user so I need the BD disks.

Arrow a lot of times puts out a separate BD release like the upcoming Demolition Man, Conan films and Dune( not always due to rights issues like the just released Friday The 13th 2009 or if it already got a BD release from them)But I love that Scream does the combo for their for 4Ks.I've been taking advantage of this for the last couple years picking up movies I loved but I didn't have on physical media or just on VHS.

Makes sense, I was just curious is all, and wanted to make sure, cause if they are truly going OOP I have to modify the front list a lot then, and if they are coming back, well you get the point,

I would probably pick up Vampirella if Scream released it on blu. It's by no means a good movie, but I've kind of had a thing for Talisa Soto aka Kitana ever since Mortal Kombat (95). I have a feeling this one would have a higher IMDB rating if Soto wasn't so "covered" throughout the film.

What I really want is more of the Bloodfist series from the Corman library. ShoutFactoryOfficial is gonna make this happen.

Sone double features would probably be the best way to do the rest of the series. Maybe 2 on its own and double features for the rest.

Hmmmmmm so I'm mostly picking out horror titles that have been on my wishlist, or some that I’ve seen before along with some blind buys.
First order
Escape from New York 4K
Assault on Precinct 13 Blu-Ray this film has been on my backlog for years yes years
Nomads Blu-Ray been eyeing this title for months
Bad Dreams/Visiting Hours double feature

Second Order
The Town that Dreaded Sundown
Dark Angel
Vincent Price Collection volume 1 This film set is completely absent from my collection time to change that.

I'm still pretty lacking in horror from before the 70s, and 80s time to make up for that. I'm probably just going to do two orders on completely separate days. I ended up missing out on the Body Snatcher which sucks because I really wanted that title. I’ve decided to hold off buying a lot of those Hammer Horror titles minus that Vincent Price set as a lot of them aren’t going anywhere as they were only put out a few years ago, and aren’t going out of print anytime soon. These orders are mostly 70s, and 80s horror titles with the exception of that Vincent Price set.

As a Warren Vampirella fan from back in the day, I really hope that awful film is quietly forgotten about. I'm surprised that Roger Daltrey hasn't bought the rights so he can bury it forever.

On the one hand, it's a shame the Hammer Vampi film never got made (Barbara Leigh's career never recovered). OTOH you look at To The Devil, A Daughter, and you think, we dodged a bullet there.

Speaking of Hammer, I went for RASPUTIN, THE MAD MONK, which wasn't included on a previous Scream sale.
