It's four compared to everyone else but Lionsgate's zero, isn't it? It's quite disturbing that it keeps happening and the lesson wasn't learnt the first time.

I noticed Studio 666 is now on Tubi via Shout Factory. Universal only gave it a blu-ray, so I wonder if this could be one of their belated 4Ks via Scream like Freaky or Sick...

I checked all the discs and all versions of the movie in this current set and the scene is cut and replaced with a weird fade out. It's a bit concerning that many of the new additions are Warner titles.

I guess 5-6 years, maybe they view that as sufficient. The recent Paramount ones were fairly short as well. Shout have a fairly sizeable catalogue so it would be tricky to keep everything in print.

Those are some of the earliest Warner pickups, if not among the first. If anyone wanted those, they would've picked them up by now. These may go OOP but that doesn't mean they won't resurface at another label (see Kino)

Yeah, that seems awful fast for JFK, I feel like that just came out. Something’s up, but I can’t wait and see. FOMO is definitely getting the best of me here.

Shout's email for the sale clarified the JFK release:

Our Collector’s Edition 4K UHD release of Oliver Stone’s JFK (1991) will soon be going out-of-print. If you want to own this version of the film, which includes the theatrical cut on Blu-ray, a bonus disc including new and archival bonus features, and a rigid slipcase, we recommend you order soon as it will only be available as long as our existing supplies last. We’ll be releasing a standard edition 2-disc 4K UHD/Blu-ray of Oliver Stone’s JFK Director’s Cut early next year, which will include the first two discs of this release.

So if you want the theatrical cut BD as well, plus the Disc 4 bonuses, best to pick this one up while it's available.
