Yeah, SF did a good job so far plugging up those holes. I do have cover art for a non-Scream title that leaked previously, Scent of a Woman 4K. Probably a sign of it being announced for May. I'll still be on the lookout for others of course.

Just be patient and wait for the official announcements tomorrow. These continual leaks do nothing but ruin the excitement when companies actually reveal things.

Yeah, I don't think leaks kill excitement. Depending on when the leaks happen, I actually see two waves of buzz/hype around a title. Once when they're first revealed, and then again when SF officially announces them. Some titles get tons of buzz and excitement around them, with multiple pages of discussion leading up to the official reveal. Truly, if I felt like my leaks were negatively impacting the label's sales I would stop doing them, but I'm just not seeing any signs of that happening.

I’m fairly certain that not one person in the world has refused to buy a title because MifuneFan leaked it. “I only buy titles that don’t get leaked”. Sounds silly when you read it out loud, doesn’t it?

If anything, MifuneFan provides a solid service to people that don’t use Facebook or IG (I don’t blame them either. Both are toxic waste pools).

Yeah, the only way I know a title is being released is through here, as I do not have any social media and don't care for Reddit. I appreciate what Mifunefan does around here. Plus, he's a Mifune fan. Any fan of Mifune has to be a swell guy.

Well that backfired. Do you still feel ‘high and mighty’ for being against something that the vast majority of the people on here support? Even Shout acknowledged it the other day and.. they didn’t sound angry about it. A lot of us support Mifunefan, you’re just looking for something to be angry about

Who really cares. While leaks are appreciated they're not critical to living. If they happen, they happen. If they don't, then they don't.

Leaks for other things can be disappointing, but more when it’s something like a movie trailer, or big video game announcement. Many of those when they do leak are thru low quality footage that’s not an ideal representation of what you’ll really see, and often have so many takedown notices that even finding the leak can be frustrating in itself to try and have an opinion at all. Products like this though, it’s only a particular kind of person that’s in forums like these that often see them at all, and I concur you end up with a nice multiple phase pop of the announcement(s).

I always love seeing what Scream titles wind up with store exclusives personally which is a whole second surprise day of, and I don’t know if any of those ever have leaked. Many labels know this period can be fun to deliberately tease things as well, with various ways that Vinegar Syndrome do teases for example, and even smaller labels like Discotek love teasing their announcements with random images as well that somewhat relate to what’s coming. There certainly are leaks that can do harm, but I doubt any of the boutique labels really have any issue with it, if anything I think it might boost sales on occasion where someone can prepare to spend money on a big limited release for a few days longer.

What happens during a sale when stock level reaches zero? I see lots of titles with a red stock reminder when stock falls to 100 or less. If it's going OOP, I understand, but if it's a current item, will new stock just instantly regenerate, or would it be OOS for a significant time period?
