It'd been quite a while before May's releases where we got new Paramount titles, so I have to assume this is part of a new deal they've made. Looking forward to seeing what else is coming.

“What Lies Beneath” on 4K is major for me! Such a great, highly underrated film.

That Blaxploitation set looks fantastic but the outer box art truly is horrendous.

Great set, but it's not too late to replace the art. That looks like someone's kid got carried away in MS Paint, absolutely hideous.

So far the few leaks are great imo, Shout/Scream are still a boutique to be reckoned with imo.

One more. Scream will be releasing Fade to Black (1980) on 4K. This one didn't show up with the others, so it may not be announced for May. We'll know in a couple hours in any event.

This is flipping amazing this is an insane set, and a big surprise indeed I'll definitely be picking this up for sure screw everything else I had planned on pre-ordering in May this is what I want. A ginormous blaxploitation box set is exactly what I need in my collection. I'll save those Criterion titles for June same with Vice Squad, and Dantes Peak in June. This is amazing I'm not kidding this is all I'm buying in May.

I thought the same at first as it had the same look and Classics name as their Shaw Bros. sets which are often 11 or 12 films.

Saw Sky Captain getting a 4K. So I think it's safe to say a new Paramount deal. I just hope they or someone gives us Testament (1983) already. Can't believe this doesn't have a release in the US outside of DVD.

Yeah, both Sky Captain, and What Lies beneath are from Paramount.

I'll end up getting it but I'm kinda torn on the Blaxploitation set. I place Coffy so far ahead of the others(though I do like them a lot) and I have the all the bling Umbrella edition that this is like a downgrade in packaging. If the 4K is great then ok but we all know how that goes(a roll of the dice).

I would imagine volume 2 will have Foxy Brown. Sheba is a huge step down from Coffy and Foxy but Pam is always great to look at.

Are any of these connected to WB? My dream would be they could put Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold on set 2 to finish that off since the archive released the first one.
