In his quote he said something along the lines of "i am sure the transfers are gorgeous"... seems to me that he hasn't seen a disc.

Glad to have the Sleepaway Camp sequels on 4K but knowing there's a Composite cut of III and other materials that could've been included, it's going to feel like a half assed release. There's still time to talk to that guy and use his stuff. It didn't even seem like he was asking for money, just happy to contribute. That attitude of "we don't need the public's help, thank you very much" is what keeps many releases from being definitive. Just ask Kino.

Shout Factory is just lazy. The composite cut of part 3 has already been released on the Austrian NSM Blu Ray years ago.

I am both excited to see Septembers announcements and terrified for my wallet. 25 items. I know some of them will be website exclusives with alternate slipcovers. But if Angel’s Egg, The Girl that Leapt through Time, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, or any Golden Princess titles including Peking Opera Blues are announced that would do a number on my wallet. I guess it’ll be June 30th when we hear what these are.

I'm hoping for Nosferatu the Vampyre finally getting announced. I know BFI is doing a international release but fingers crossed Scream Factory is still doing a U.S, release and it includes a Blu Ray copy too(preferably remastered).

Yes! Nosferatu The Vampire (1979) 4K, along with Firestarter (1984) 4K and Firestarter Rekindled (2) (2002) 4K. And I'm still hoping for Demon Knight (1995) 4K for its 30th anniversary, although earlier this year the ShoutFactoryOfficial said "not anytime soon."

Another big "huh?" of an exclusive set following Bava. Happy for Private Files, Wicked Stepmother is good for fans, but I found it to be Cohen's worst, and Special Effects doesn't carry over the director's commentary found on the Olive disc. Works out great for those who don't have Special Effects already as that is the highlight film in the set.
