I gotcha. We appreciate you. Lame that these studios don’t see how it hypes us up to buy the new stuff. It seems obvious which studio it was now. Sad they went from one of my favorites to one of my least favorites in one year.

Seeing as how a major studio has struck MifuneFan down for leaking Shout titles early, wouldn’t he now become more powerful than you can possibly imagine? 😂

On the flip side all your followers appreciate and respect your work for giving us collectors the “heads up” on titles before they get announced. If anything this will most likely end some of those Twitter feeds that have ridden your wave for far too long!

I wonder why they are dropping it. It could be as simple as rights or SF wanting to keep it exclusive to their original release. It seems like everything in the VP collection is staying intact for its Walmart release. I wonder if anymore Scream titles will get this treatment.

I don't have it in my collection either. It's not one of my favorite horror flicks as I feel it doesn't even hold a candle to The Thing, or The Fog. Also yes I am being entirely serious on the fact that I don't own Halloween at all in my collection.

With the supposed promise of 25 films being announced and the alleged threat from a major studio to shut down leaks, one would wonder if the two aren't connected in some capacity.

What's weird to me is why would a Major Studio care that a boutique labels releases are being leaked 2-5 days early? To the best of my knowledge nothing much was ever leaked from any of the majors....

My first thought goes to the Dimension library... From Dusk Till Dawn 1-4, Feast 1-3, etc. etc. There are likely enough titles across that library to fill a 25 title stretch.

My second thought then goes to the Corman Library... Could the 2nd half of titles that have previously been off limits finally been licensed out? Of course this could lead to Sorority House Massacre II, Hard to Die etc. Finally seeing HD debuts. Though I have serious doubts this is the issue....

More likely in my mind is that this was Warner's doing and they are tired of all you nerds pestering them on when A Nightmare on Elm Street is going to be announced for the US and saw the various leaks on the forums and poor Mifunefan got caught in the cross hairs as the primary leaker, despite not having much of anything to do with that one (if I recall correctly).

I don’t have it because I am boycotting that artwork and I will continue to boycott it until it’s made available without that highly offensive Yankee Candle Michael Myers rendering on the disc face, at the very least.

Honestly, I don't think it's Warner as Shout! Factory has barely put out any WB stuff recently. It sounds like the Corman Estate, or the Millennium Films deal that Shout! Factory made late last year. Considering a lot of Millennium Films titles used to be with Lionsgate, and as we know Lionsgate is limiting most of their titles including the Vestron line to the Lionsgate Limited site it sounds like Lionsgate to me.

Sony is also a possibility as well as Shout! Factory does have a Sony deal

I'm leaning towards Sony, or Lionsgate here with Lionsgate mostly because of the recent Millennium Films deal.
