September 3rd will be a big day for us.
MST3k: The Movie
Creepshow 2
Idle Hands
Scanners 2&3
Dracula: Prince of Darkness

Cliff, why wasn't the MST3k Movie announced on Scream's Facebook page? That seems pretty big.

Does anyone remember the 1974 black comedy/horror film HOMEBODIES? Who even owns this? MGM? Has this been mentioned as a possible scream factory pick up at all?

haven't seen this in 35 years.....has anyone?

Had no clue that was MGM, but yeah. I would be down. Hilarious, yet creepy movie.

I saw HOMEBODIES first-run along with Castle's SHANKS, and that was a weird double-bill.

Synapse's BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE was mastered from Sinister Cinema's 35MM print. It had all the gore, but not the international scene.

Could've sworn Scream had preorders for Psycho II/III. Guess it was just Amazon. Hopefully soon.

I, personally, think that the MST3k Movie should be a Scream title for the same reason that Ninja III and Dark Angel were. Any other opinions?

It's not because the entire MST3K line is under Shout.

No I dont think so...first This Island Earth is a Sci-Fi movie from the 1950s..not really a horror film , even on its own without MST3K it would not seem to be a Scream line title..Second, MST3K is comedy..intentional comedy...
I can't speak for Ninja III but I gather its funny but not intentionally, it just is a cult film that seems to be a hoot.
I wonder what 50s films could actually be a Scream title ?
Off the top of my head
Invasion of the Saucer Men - too campy ?
The Crawling Eye - maybe this one
The Brain that Wouldnt Die ( ok, it is 1960) would be a good candidate
It The Terror From Beyond Space - possibly

If a new deal were to be made with Fox, what would the titles be?
I think that they'd be something like:
Phantom of the Paradise
The Fly / Return of the Fly / Curse of the Fly
The Fly II
Frankenstein Unbound
The Legend of Hell House

Maybe, from MGM, you guys might also get National Lampoon's Class Reunion? It's sort of a slasher movie.

Twilight Time is dealing with Fox...
I wonder if they include MGM titles at the Comic Con -
could we get Without Warning at long last ?
Pumpkinhead would be most welcome...

Don't think we got a No yet from Cliff on The Keep (1983) did we? Like others have mentioned, would be a great title for Scream I think. They never did put out a DVD release which is a crime! Anyone who hasn't seen this classic should really check it out. Great music in there from Tangerine Dream...would sound ridonculous in HD.
