Even if you're not region-free, you can play the film and the 'More Brains' doc by pressing the 'top menu' button once you get the region error message. You just can't play the other featurettes.

Um... no.

Shout won't do it because they wouldn't be able to have access to the original soundtrack and be able to clear it. And the new-audio is already on Blu-Ray in the US.

Second Sight's BD has the original soundtrack though, and it works fine in a Region A player, the film itself and feature-length doc are Region Free.

Cliff did basically say that. The More Brains doc is the final word on the making of the film - any Red Shirt docs would be both redundant and less comprehensive. There would really be no point to a US release, especially with the film (with original audio) and primary doc being playable here anyway.

Sorry to burst your bubble. But your three favorited titles have all been denied in the past 24 hours.

I see that the spine reads Shout!, not Scream.

They make mistakes on these a lot and tend to fix them. Like the incorrect tagline on Q, but they missed Colleector's Edition on their Captain America blu...
So someone should probably tell them.

Someone online has quoted Cliff as saying that BLOOD AND LACE (1971) is not possible at this time. Huge disappointment, but I appreciate the update.

Here's something all of us Screamers can enjoy,
there is a new VHS pillow that has a bunch of horror titles that you can put in the center with a picture. These include The Burning, TerrorVision, The Video Dead, Dolls, Cannibal Holocaust, The Blob '88, The Stuff, and Chopping Mall just to name a few. Seen below is the Re-Animator pillow.

Sweet pillow! I'm not sure. I found a link on Fearnet's website. I, myself, want the Chopping Mall one.

Also, I just watched Prince of Darkness for the 1st time. I wasn't too impressed. I wanted to like it, I really did but about 40 minutes or so were dreadfully boring. The whole third act really saved it from being a bomb. The ending was great though!

As a side note, according to the Universal DVD of it, Halloween: Resurrection never happened. You may be confused, but the subtitles refer to Donald Pleasance's character as Father Loomis, who I can only assume is the twin brother of Dr. Loomis. And if the world ends in 1999, we can't get to 2002, where Resurrection is set. Confused yet?
I like to think that neither that nor H20 happened. I'd prefer to go with the Jamie Lloyd timeline any day.

The Price Collection looks good. However, I'm waiting to see the price before I decide on buying or not. I can't swing another big purchase this fall. I've ordered Demons and Demons 2; and I desperately want the Friday the 13th set.
