I just can't believe that The Horror Show which was released as House 3 gets a release before House and House 2 the second story.
Apart from Vamp there are hardly any New World titles released on Blu Ray .
Heck I would pick up Sledge Hammer seasons 1 & 2 on blu ray if they released it!!

Go to Image. If enough people ask, they might release them next year.

I dont want to come across like an advertisement but I did a poll post about horror movies that you would recommend. Im doing this because I want to see a lot more 80s horror films and with so many I wanted to hear from my peers who probably know more about them that I do...so if can spare a moment to check my thread in the poll section Id like to know what my horror peers would recommend .
Im doing this in part because Scream has released and Im sure will be releasing more horror films in that era as well and I want to be more versed

How about getting People, A Vampire in Brooklyn, and Music of the Heart together, and do the Ghetto Trilogy, aka the Wes Craven Thinks He's Black Boxset?

I know it's extremely unlikely, but I'd like to see at least one more 70's title (or even earlier) announced.

Just a theory about Body Bags and an episode of The Simpsons (put it spoilers just in case)

[Show spoiler]Just been checking the synopsis for Body Bags on Wikipedia and it looks like The Simpson's Treehouse of Horror IX segment Hell Toupée might have got its inspiration from there. I could be wrong as I haven't seen Body Bags but it sounds similar

Your sarcasm is nice. However, Vampire is with Warner/Paramount Catalog and Music is either with Lionsgate or, more likely, Echo Bridge.

Music of the Heart is already available from Echo Bridge. The only bad part of the release is the lack of a 5.1 mix, which the film did have theatrically; and the missing 2nd disc supplement from the original release, which included the original documentary the film is based on.

I'd welcome this as well! I'd love Equinox ( although that would be Criterion) and Let's Scare Jessica to Death.

Great. Eventually those of us not on Fakebook can be marketed to by this site.

It's a film that never fails to draw me in, despite multiple viewings over the years. Zohra Lampert gives a really exceptional performance. She is utterly convincing as a haunted, sensitive soul, but with no scenery chewing or histrionics, just subtle shifts in body language and vocal tonality. I don't think the movie holds together, but still a real gem that I have no hope of ever seeing a BD of.

I know Scream hasn't mentioned which titles they wil be showing off at CC, but any idea on how many they will announce?

Originally it was the Super Six correct?

I wonder how many 2014 titles they have to announce.

I have a weird hunch about Dawn of the Dead, but we'll see.

I finally have got some funds together, and haven't bought a SF release since The Video Dead/Terrorvision, so this week I'm going to splurge a bit.

Very interested in Town that Dreaded Sundown, Vampire Lovers, Phantasm 2, Lifeforce, The Howling, From Beyond, and The Burning.

Maybe Prison, The Nest, but those I'll probably hold off on for a while.

I think Town that Dreaded Sundown, From Beyond, and Phantasm II are the only two for sure I'm getting, would love some opinions on that other batch. The only one I've seen of the bunch is The Burning and The Howling, haven't seen Lifeforce or Vampire Lovers.

Universal and Craven both have a great working relationship with Scream and this title I feel would sell especially well. That would lead me to THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS for a good second choice. From MGM I would like Romero's THE DARK HALF and MONKEY SHINES. Both films hold up pretty well i think. On the subject of Stephen King, we all need MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE. Last I knew, Fox owned it and I would just love a commentary track with King just from the get go admitting he was cocked out of his mind while filming. Also from Fox I would adore PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE. De Palma loves being involved with the special editions of his films. That is long, long overdue. Being a bigtime ROCKY HORROR fan I would buy SHOCK TREATMENT in a heartbeat. When Scream announced DAY OF THE DEAD, we all were surprised and I hope we get a big surprise again from them of another dynamite title from Anchor Bay's library of films they released. Overseas, Arrow released MOTEL HELL, THE CAR and many other great cult films that I would not be shocked if a title or three would be announced. Of course I still dream of films like DAWN OF THE DEAD, SUSPIRIA, and FRIGHT NIGHT PART 2 and hundreds others to get their day in Scream Factory's hands. One can always hope.

Nice guesses, Tony. Hope they all come true.

Dear god I would love a proper release of Suspiria from ANYONE at this point but the Weinsteins own the rights and haven't done a goddamn thing with them

I would purchase "Prison" before "Vampire Lovers" or "Lifeforce", probably over "Town That Dreaded Sundown" too. "Prison" is very underrated, mainly because it really just hasn't been seen by many until now.
