But... you don't give a reformed bank robber a 2nd chance as a security guard in a bank. You don't give a reformed child kidnapper a 2nd chance as a babysitter... etc.

It does seem kind of quick for a guy to get a 2nd chance in the same field that he just was caught being fraudulent... That's not even enough time to fully repent and reform himself.
your going to compare lifting art to kidnapping and bank robbery?

I hope you never find yourself in a situation where you need a 2nd chance and people call for you career to be over. no one is perfect and most of us have been given a 2nd chance at something in our lives. he has to know he wont get many more chances and if he continues with the copying then he should have his career taken away. untill then everyone should give him a break

I wasn't comparing the offenses... I was comparing the restrictions.

Typically when a person gets a 2nd chance, they either have to change fields OR time has to have passed between the offense and the 2nd chance.

In this case it kind of looks like he got caught, got a slap on the wrist, and went right back to work with the same clients as if nothing had happened.

I wish we all got that kind of 2nd chance! But most people don't.

I just want you to remember that since he was outed, he has created three of the better received Scream original art pieces in The Fog, Prince of Darkness, and Body Bags. Anyone else seeing a pattern?

I just got done watching The Howling, it's been a few years since I last watched it and I had forgotten how much fun it is. Dee Wallace was a really hottie back in her day.

Howling 2 is fun. Howling 1 is just a downright good movie. It's just a gorgeous film.

...and a downright effective film it is too. That transformation scene in the cabin has got to be one of the most terrifying ones ever put to film....the combination of the grotesqueness of the face, it's cold, dead animal stare and the movement of it's fingers as it just stands there transforming in front of it's victim just gets me everytime.

Seriously, Sony is going to do literally NOTHING with Piranha 2 otherwise. If they didn't release it when all these new Piranha movies started hitting theaters and BD, then they couldn't possibly give a damn about it. I hate these stubborn studios.

I have the strangest feeling that they gave it to Image. Like they did with Idle Hands, Jagged Edge, and Peggy Sue Got Married.

I doubt it but that would be great, maybe even Candyman, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4, and Boogeyman / Boogeyman 3 (80s originals).

I wonder if Scream now has Stepfather III seeing is how it was an ITC production and Shout! signed a deal with ITV recently:

They're inconsistent on this rule, but I think it's a possibility, I brought it up a few pages ago.

Man, I wish SF would release Dolls on Blu-ray, but I guess that won't be happening anytime soon. I see there's a release coming out next week from Happinet.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Dolls-Blu-ray/74125/

Has anyone here checked out their release of Tourist Trap? I was thinking about maybe picking up those two and the original Night of the Living Dead, since I've heard some good things about the release. Hopefully they're all really region A, like they say they are. Lol.

Japan is Region A.

The Blu-Ray coding Is different, Japan is a Region A territory only.
They're either A or Free, like ours.

Was totally unaware that this was getting a release. Wish Scream would release it, but at least it's region A.

Stepfather III is not a "TV Movie"...no idea why the IMDB has it listed that way, but it's wrong. It definitely wasn't made for TV. It might have aired on cable first before video, but it certainly wasn't shot for TV.

Not that it makes it a good movie, because if I were Shout, I'd pass...easily...on it.

Half-Price Books sells the new Full Moon DVD of TOURIST TRAP. It's priced at $3.99. The disc is letterboxed, and anamorphic I think.

No, it's still with Sony. They even updated the cover art.
