Does anyone know who holds the rights to Ms. 45 (1981)? Image released the DVD way back in 2000, but it's non-anamorphic, slightly cut, and has no extras.

Good idea. I have the uncut French DVD, but this would be a great Scream title.

I'd love to get a Collector's Edition of Ms. 45 from Shout/Scream. A commentary with Joe Bob Briggs would be awesome. He did an excellent job on the commentary for I Spit on Your Grave (1978) on Elite's Millennium Edition DVD in 2002. I'd also request another commentary with director Abel Ferrara as well as a making-of documentary, a tribute to Zoë Tamerlis, any deleted scenes that might exist, and trailers/tv spots/radio spots....rounded off with a 1.78:1 anamorphic (DVD) 1080p (BD) transfer and uncut!

It would be sweet news indeed if someone, anyone, picked this up and put it out on BD. The Image dvd has been OOP for a while now, seems like a good title for Scream Factory, or Scorpion, or whoever...

Another MGM title might be heading to HD - Invaders from Mars - the remake with Karen Black. Wouldnt that be cool ?

Love this movie! A blu-ray release would be awesome. Will never forget the scene where the teacher eats the frog.

Let me clarify that post I made - I haven't heard any announcement or anything about this title coming out, but only a possibility that it could come out being that its a 1980s horror/scifi movie - with Tobe Hooper and Karen Black, this to me has Scream Factory written all over it. It seems to fit the mold and wouldn't be surprised if this did come out. I would welcome it in a heartbeat. I was looking at my Midnite Movie collection and its the only one from the 1980s that I own.

When Scream Factory starts dipping into sci-fi flicks, I'd say "Without Warning", "Lifeforce" and "Invaders From Mars" will be no brainers for them.

CMAC, I love the Slumber Party Massacre set you guys put out. Any chance of those films hitting bluray at some point?

They are doing pretty good.
Not surprising. I work at an FYE store, and we had the Blus for both Halloween films. Halloween II sold out within an hour of being put out, and we've got one copy of Halloween III left.

If I recall correctly, they didn't have the budget to even give those films an HD transfer. Plus, the Corman line wasn't as successful as they hoped, so it's not going to happen.

That's why I'm planning on getting each of the Scream Factory titles as they're released (including The Funhouse, which I already have the excellent Arrow release of); I want this line to do well.
