Never seen DMD, but I think I'll blind buy it. I usually enjoy 60's cheese a little more than 80's.

And to paraphrase the infamous Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons...

"Die Monster Die" is German for "The Monster The"

Once again, we can cross off Creepshow and Prom Night. Come on, do you guys really expect for Warner Brothers and Echo Bridge to give up easily?

Synapse scored "Prom Night" sometime ago with a release slated for 2014. We've dealt with our dreams of Scream scoring it crushed That said, Synapse will do wonders with the film along with "Curtains". As long as the films are treated properly, that's what really counts after all.

We just watched my Blu-ray of 'X-Ray/Schizoid'......'X-Ray' wanted so badly to be a 'classic-retro' style film. We liked it, BUT, it was like Barbi Benton (beautiful BTW) was in a mental hospital instead of a regular hospital. All the weirdos...? Wow. But, her performance was good and it had cool kills.

'Schizoid'...it was GOOD. Loved it. The music and atmosphere was phenomenal. Didn't really have any gore though. Odd.

Had never seen either one and so glad I bought the Blu! Hope to get more Blu-ray releases like these gems!

Wow, time sure flies. Of course, just now finding out about Scream Factory played a role in that.

Does anyone know if they have an October or Halloween type sale of any kind?

And just to be clear,
THIS WAS NOT THROUGH A DEAL WITH ECHO BRIDGE

So "HALLOWEEN 6" STILL IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR SCREAM

Just though d point that out everytime someone says "Synapse got Prom Night and Curtains", someone else gets peoples hopes up by saying "Maybe Shout will get ________ and _______, that never got a good release" (like - Halloween 6).

Synapse made a deal with, presumably, eONE, who aquired it from Alliance, who aquired it from SimCom. Echo Bridge did the same, but just for Standard DVD rights. This is a fluke, and all other Echo Bridge titles apart from the remaining Prom Night sequels, are assumed to be NO.

The first film's ending doesn't really lend itself well to being aired on TV, except for maybe the pay channels (HBO, Showtime, etc.).

That's too bad considering the print of Halloween 6 The Producer's Cut was found. Too bad someone won't release it. I know there were offers from Anchor Bay that were turned down.

Echo Bridge needs to get on the ball.

There is a base for the film to sell. The Rob Zombie one keeps on selling at Amazon in top 100 horror so... and that's hated by a large portion of the fanbase.

Halloween 4 sold ok and Halloween 2 sold ok too.

-------------------

Sleepaway Camp?

I'm mostly interested in part 2. Just throwing that out there incase they're looking.

My first viewing was on either IFC or Fearnet about 9 years ago. Neither of those channels cost anything besides having basic digital cable at the time. (Fearnet is now a premium channel but not IFC)
