Yeah I am really interested in checking out Corruption from Grindhouse next month...never even heard of that one until they announced it.

Saw a bunch of scream titles at B&N today while looking around, I have no idea how they even sell any movies though, I wanted to pick up the Fog but after tax it would be 32$ and change for a 33 year old low budget horror movie, absurdity of the highest order.

Their prices are always high unless there's one of their rare sales. And if you can use a coupon during the sale, even better. They have a 40% off sale a couple of times a year (next one is December) and you can get some nice deals during that.

I think it would be awesome if Scream Factory released The Dark Side of the Moon (1990). It's sort of like a low-budget version of Event Horizon. It's a good movie, and it hasn't even been released on DVD. Anybody else seen it?

Yes, I saw it several times on VHS back in the day. I quite liked it.

I would be even more happy to see a release of Moontrap (1989), though. To the best of my knowledge that hasn't seen a release since the days of VHS either.

Second both Dark Side of The Moon and Moontrap. Haven't seen DSoTM since the VHS rental days. My Moontrap Laserdisc will suffice in the meantime (or rather, the DVD transfer I made from it).

I THINK this was on Netflix Streaming as recently as last October; someone recommended it to me and I have it queued up but never got around to it. If so that could imply the rights are accessible (and that someone was willing to do something with DSoM digital streaming). Now I can't seem to find it anymore on Netflix streaming.

Edit: Confirmation of previous Netflix availability here, fwiw: http://nextgenfmradio.com/2013/01/22...flix-watch-it/

Yeah that 40% off sale and the half off criterion sales are about the only time I buy movies there as that is a good deal. They left a bad taste in my mouth during the last 40% off sale though, "The Burning" was released on blu during one of those sales and I wanted it but they didnt have it and I asked "will I still get the discount if I have you guys order it for me" and the lady said yes and I asked just to make sure "will it be an issue if it arrives after the sale is over and if it is Id be willing to pay now upfront" and she assured me its fine and then they call me a week later say they have it I show up to get it for 17.99$ like they said it would be and instead I just get a blank stare from some idiot behind the counter telling me "nope sales over 33$" and I told him everything that I had asked prior and they assured it would be the same price and I even had a printout from the website from the week before showing the 17.99$ from when I ordered it and they wouldnt honor it. I bought it anyway because I didnt wanna have to go order it offline after wasting the gas only to save 8$ but needless to say I left bitter about it.

This has probably been asked before and I know Poltergeist II already has a US BLU release but any chance SCREAM would license them from MGM/FOX for new special editions. They don't have to discuss the first film at all for bonus features...it would be cool to see any of the deleted footage from Poltergeist III though. I bet even Nancy Allen would do interviews.

Cliff doesn't want Poltergeist 3 in the line. I can't really blame him... But, then again, Part 2 is my favorite of the trilogy. And I want him to do Howling 2, which he denied.

Thanks Cliff.... but Ninja III is ok lol Don't get me wrong I own it but if he thinks the Scream line has titles beneath it then Poltergeist III isn't the worst ever title they could release. Both titles as Special Editions would sell. (If anyone would step up for bonus features)

I think that it is a mix of a lack of features that can be done (that haven't been done to death on the documentaries about it), and the fact that the movie is hated by many fans. I would not be surprised if MGM has plans for it sometime next year.
