Edit - saw the wiki rumor...sigh
Well, one of the listed is King Kong vs Godzilla. That's Universal... So that one is possible.

You know whats really interesting is that most of them were Sony Classic Media titles...maybe Classic Media lost the rights to them + you add King Kong vs Godzilla from Universal. Come to think it on this list, only Ebirah and Mothra were part of what Sony/Columbia had , and just possibly they decided to license them to Scream Factory.
This could be true ...but nothing firm until Jeff says something
My god(zilla) this would be AMAZING MAJOR news

1 - KK vs. Godzilla IS with Universal

Who knows...maybe this does have some feasibility to it, but still until Scream announces something we better just take it at face value, this would be awesome though
It's completely untrue.

Which SF titles are generally considered the "best" in terms of the overall package from quality, extras, etc...?

I suppose that boils down to preference especially when it comes to the Collector's Edition titles which are all really stacked with features plus the reversible cover arts. Personally, the best in terms of the whole package for me would be "Halloween II", "Halloween III: Season of the Witch", "The Fog", "They Live", "Day of the Dead" and my favorite Scream release to date... "The Vincent Price Collection".

Thanks! Unfortunately, I suspected as much. I hope that The Changeling (1980) gets the high definition treatment that it deserves one of these days.

Were there ever any discussion about Carpenter's Escape From New York getting the Shout!/Scream treatment? I remember reading about this, but I'm not sure if it was just some rumor that was killed a long time ago.

Ah crap - Shout! won't ship to Denmark even though it is listed as an available country on their website.. Would've liked The Fog but I ended up getting Prince of Darkness from Amazon instead - I'm expecting it to include a slipcover. It was asked a few days ago but has anyone received PoD from Amazon since then?

Just received my second copy of The Funhouse without a slipcover from Amazon. Why bother sending me a replacement if they're not going to send me one with a slipcover? Does anyone have a spare they would be willing to sell?
