This made me wonder if Scream is dealing with MGM reps, or Fox reps on these movies. I know Fox bought a lot of MGMs library so I wonder if the deals for MGM titles are with MGM or Fox ..in the grand scheme of things it doesnt matter but I found it interesting anyway
All of their titles seem to say that.
I guess it just covers all the bases, but I believe Cliff has said they made deals specifically with MGM, not FOX, When that was pointed out before.

Maybe they got the features from Fox, as they had some semblance of control over those titles.

But some had no previous features from FOX.

Godsend was a bit better, anamorphic for one thing, but it had some interlacing issues.

I hadn't seen The Outing before this release and I really loved it! It's too bad this wasn't given a solo release on blu-ray but I guess they didn't think it was worthy of investing money into after a sales estimate.
I agree, Ive seen the Outing and the Vagrant so far...Outing was a great B movie. I thought Vagrant was awful but the transfers are budget releases and hoped for the best. I think the Outing deserved a better fate. The dark scenes are really unviewable VHS quality ..pretty bad really.
Were they inspired by Mill Creek ?

You are forgetting. This is possibly their only shot on DVD. You are lucky to get a budget release with a mediocre transfer.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is the worldwide home video distributor for all MGM titles until 2016. http://www.deadline.com/2011/04/mgm-...-through-2016/

Cliff may very well be dealing with MGM representatives directly, but MGM likely needs to secure some sort of consent from Fox before they can officially license any titles to a 3rd party, such as Shout! Factory, Arrow or Criterion.

And anyone heard if they're still planning Dead Shadows? The foreign film??

Two things here from me. Firstly, which KillerPOV podcast is the Scream Factory on? Secondly, I got my Day Of The Dead and Psycho 2 today, I've got vacation coming up, I can't wait to watch those 2.

Jeff is on two, and Jeff and Cliff are together on one.
On the geeknation KillerPOV website, simply scroll through and the ones that are titled something along the lines of "Scream Factory", are about Scream Factory.

Groovy

If they do end up releasing it, that'll be my first Chiller film from them.

Not really. When news broke last February, the release plans seemed fairly ambitious.

Oh wow, one of my Film School classmates directed Curandero. It hit festivals, but lost the support of Bob Weinstein and got buried. Good to see it will come out finally.

EDIT: Oh and apparently it's been out for 6 months. I had no idea.
