Decided to spend my day off printing. The initial covers I printed came out so good, I decided to do them all. I'm glad I still had some blank cases left, even a couple clear ones.(which I may eventually do all of them in given how Incredible they look.)I'd like to add a huge thanks to Nissen for the covers

. My Hitchcock collection is now(almost) beautifully uniform. Time to cut.

I know this is the long shot of long shots. But I just bought the region free German blu ray for Double Dragon, and wanted to know if anyone had a custom cover that replicated either the VHS cover art, or the original poster. Because, if not, then I am going to be making my very first custom cover. And I have no idea how to do that. I have decent software (I think?) but no clue on where to start.

why not give it a go? you had be as well, the only way your gonna learn how to make them is to try.

what software have you got?

Here are another set of retro covers, this time for the first two Poltergeist movies (I will post the third once I get the resources gathered). For the first movie, I made a WHV cover and an MGM/UA cover. I do not have any plans at this time to make a matching cover for the remake. Here are the covers:

I actually enjoyed that film, and still do. It seemed most of the backlash at the time came from it not featuring Ralph Macchio...but he was already pushing believability at 28 in the third film. The Next Karate Kid was five years later, so it made perfect sense for Miyagi to take on a new student...and the filmmakers decided to switch things up so the story could be told from a different point of view.

Thanks for the Next Karate Kid custom StarDragon9. That movie doesn't get that much love, but it does feature an Oscar Winner!

BTW, these retro covers from Columbia/MGM are great! Would you consider tackling some more of the Canon Films. You did do Death Wish 2-4, and would like to see some Chuck Norris films. Missing in Action trilogy, Delta Force etc.....

I’ve got Corel Paintshop Pro X7. I’m sure there’s templates for it, but I wouldn’t know the first thing about how to import them or how to format everything
