I intend on changing the collage on the back, but thought I would post this wip to see if it's something people would be interested in. My intention is to eventually have my entire Blu-ray collection in the clear Criterion cases, Titanic just happens to be one of the first I have started working on outside of the Disney collections.

Also... The Black Cauldron, Fantasia 2000 version 2 and the fixed version of The Rescuers/The Rescuers Down Under are now available to download through my blog.

Please note it lists the extras as they appear on the French Blu.

Lately, nearly all of my clients have elected to share their covers with fellow forum members. It's a nice trend.

Now that BLUE THUNDER is being released on BD we need a Retro VHS Cover to go with it.

Shout/Scream Factory are my favorite distributor also, just wisdh in this one case they would have made a new widescreen transfer.

I watched it yesterday as well and I agree with you on the quality. Quite possibly the worst DVD transfer I have ever seen.

Given that it was a Cannon property I am guessing that Shout! Factory did not have many choices when it came to selecting prints.

Hopefully a studio will give it the re-master it deserves but considering how long it took to just bring it to DVD I doubt it. I have fond memories of watching the movie on video in the mid-1980s with my friends.

Great work Nissen even though I would never use that ESB poster art with the other two OT films personally. Did you happen to make one with the style A art that was more much used in the theaters here in the sates?

No, sorry. Been waiting for an opportunity to put this particular artwork on a cover.

I think this poster is superior to the Gone With the Wind poster which I have used on several previous sets. This "Style B" poster by Tom Jung is still "official" North American artwork for the film, and no less a valid choice.

Just a nitpick: prints are not used for video transfers.
