I realized I was plagiarized when I came across this image:

http://covers.box.sk/index.php?pid=c...mod=front+back

The front is not mine, but the person putting this cover together used my very first "A View to a Kill" back cover.

And for "Octopussy":

http://covers.box.sk/newsimg/dvdmov/...back-cover.jpg

Diamonds Are Forever:

http://covers.box.sk/newsimg/dvdmov/...back-cover.jpg

I'm not that steamed about it because these back covers were put together when I was just starting out and it frankly shows. It's frankly funny that someone would choose to plagiarize these amateurish back covers.

My Norton Antivirus kicked up a fuss with that site, so please take your precautions before clicking the links.

Yes, those are indeed your backs, Darren. There are many so-called cover "artists" out there who can't put together a halfway decent back, so they resort to borrowing someone else's.

A funny thing happened when I was browsing around a few days ago. I saw a cover for a particular Criterion title that I had posted a WiP of a couple of months ago, posted as someone else's work. Now, I'm fairly new to this, and don't consider myself anywhere near the "artist" that many of you guys are, and didn't think something like this would both me. I'm usually flattered that anyone would even want to have one of my covers. But you know what, it did bother me. Not a lot, not even enough to post a reply to the person. But I do recall calling him something that I couldn't post anyway .

I didn't think I could surprise myself, but I did. It was actually kinda weird to have a reaction that I didn't expect myself.

The G1 target case was bugging me so i decided to make this the back is from a scan from the regular blu ray cover with some tweaks. I am new at this so bare with lol

I am having fun with this one, but as you can see i have no back i do not know what and how to put it the back part of cases have always been a issue for me lol

AWESOME! Been looking for an awesome Psycho cover to go next to my Scream Factory releases of II and III. I have no doubt that Nissen will bring the awesome as always

Default The Italian Job '69

I ordered the '69 version of The Italian Job and knew I'd be replacing the cover. I don't keep the thicker UK cases, and there is a piece of art I really like for this movie. I did, however, keep one element from the front of the studio cover, as I own a 2011 Mini, which I love more than any car I've owned since a '72 Mach 1 in my late teens. I'm actually pretty pleased with how this one came out. One of my favorites, I think.

I am also getting this today on DVD (as part of the 4-movie set).

Since the two movies "The Final Option" and "Treasure of the Four Crowns" are featured on separate discs I plan on producing two custom covers, one of "The Final Option" (aka Who Dares Wins) and another for "Treasure of the Four Crowns"

The other two movies that share their respective discs with these two will be listed as a Bonus Movie much like my "Dirty Dozen" custom did for its sequel.

This is the next project once I wrap up my "Doc Savage" custom.

Frankly I've never heard of either of the other two movies despite the fact that Jim Brown is in one and James Cagney in the other.

I didn't get around to watching it last night because my Netflix movies arrived

But, I did notice that "Treasure of the Four Crowns" lists an audio commentary as a special feature.

Thank you Shout! Factory. They released "Shout at the Devil" and "Raise the Titanic" on Blu-ray last year, and this year they come out with "Treasure of the Four Crowns" (on DVD I know but it's better than nothing). They are fast becoming my favorite distributor.

Watched the DVD last night and the picture quality is even worse than the old VHS rental copies, lots of black specs through out the film and of coarse the aspect ratio sucks, However it sounds like its in stereo. We can only hope that one day a company will give this movie the respect it deserves but until than this is all we got.

Shout/Scream Factory are my favorite distributor also, just wisdh in this one case they would have made a new widescreen transfer.

I am looking for the following Criterion scans if anyone has them

Breathless (both inner artwork and outer artwork)
Che (the slipbox sized for a single Criterion Blu-ray case)
Dazed and Confused (that line sup with the existing release better than the scan online now)

Also if anyone has scans of Ace in the Hole, Red River, Sweet Smell of Success, and Slacker--those would be great.

Default Photoshop pen tool help needed

I need help with the pen tool.

I have CS6 and whenever I try to draw a path the screen goes black whenever I make a point on the path. I see the path I have made but the image I am trying to cut out is not visible because the entire rest of the screen (aside from the points on the path) is black.

If I move the scrollbar on the screen the image I am attempting to cut out reappears, only to disappear again when I make the next point on the path. The whole thing has me frustrated because it makes the pen cutting tool extremely tedious and it takes about three times as long as it used to.

What am I doing wrong, is there a setting I need to change?

Ya I don't own those yet so I didn't mention them.

Also Coverts of the DVD covers to Blu-ray for some of the stuff they didn't release on blu but did on DVD would be great. I know someone did some of them a while back but haven't seen a new one for quite a while

It is a setting thing, has something to do with your graphics card. Google for "black screen cs6" with pen tool and select tool (it was doing it with the select tool with me). There are solutions out there.
