Now that the Mel Brooks Collection is at $46.99, I'm sure a lot more people will be adding it to their collection. Which also means a lot more people will want to replace the big box set with some custom artwork.

I don't have the skills, but it would be awesome if someone created a cover out of this artwork:

Also, does anyone know where to buy 9-disc blu-ray cases? Viva has them on their website, but I can't find anywhere that actually sells them.

Maybe you'd have to put the collection in 2x 5-disc cases

There are 6 disk cases for sale @amazon, but that is the largest I have seen.

Just finished my Juno cover... I'm pretty happy with it. If any of you guys have any suggestions LMK. I think it's done, but a few more creative eyes never hurt... lol.

Don't quite know how I feel about the striped background. I like the overall cover because it seems unique, I especially like the sketches used for the front but don't know if the orange stripes distract from them or not.

I only saw this movie once, do the orange stripes have some significance to it?

I like it, but what about the third disc? I know it's a lot to fit on the back though.

Yeah, I caught that and already fixed it. When you make a cover in a day, your bound to miss stuff from your eyes starting to cross! lol Thats why I have you all!

It was used a lot in the different artworks for the movie... originally it was all orange but the stripes seemed to make it more interesting...

Thanks for the compliments and feedback! That freaking pregnancy test was ANNOYING to get to look right... lol.

Although I don't condone these acts, I do believe the person was attempting to be more original that you are giving him/her credit for.

If I had both those covers side by side I would not say they were the same. Through scrutiny and close inspection I would end up with notes that say the spines look similar as well as the text portion but the text portion I would write off because after staring at a bunch many tend to look similar and only a few stand out.

Anyways, please resolve this outside the thread.

credits and logos on the back bottom & spine are an exact duplicate. While its a gray area for me on this, Im not a fan of cut and paste of others elements. At least give the original artist a shout if you can use it. Some artists create unique legal/credit sections that is their signature style unlike the standard studio layout style that is on most templates. Just communicate and we'll all get a long fine!

I wasn't starting anything, just pointing out that the text at the bottom (credits down) and the spine are EXACTLY what I sat at my computer and typed by hand. I just felt ripped off, not starting a fight as all I asked was for him to be more original. I left it at that and I do not expect a response from him, just take it as a "please don't do that". This is one of my favorite corners of the internet, I wouldn't do anything to ruin that.

I have no issues with tkdkid, just asking for some respect. Long story short, please type your own text, that way it's truly your custom cover. Now let's get back to having fun! BTW, I'm working on a Harry Potter collection, can't wait to show you guys!
