I liked the John Dorie episode. Great character.

BUT they really should have wound up the show with Nick dying and had Strand join TWD. No other original cast members worth watching. It's like killing Rick and continuing TWD.

Madison is the Rick of this show as far as I'm concerned

I have a feeling she (Madison) took over the Vultures. I think that's why Nick wanted to find them so bad. Not because they killed her.

Wishful thinking! I do like Madison, and I hope she's not out of the show from the current (now) time line forward. She's been a survivor the whole time, and maybe she saw that living in the stadium was doomed, and that living the nomadic life was the way to go. At least until she meets Rick!

I wonder if the theory about Madison becoming Alpha is still possible. That would be an interresting plot, even if it seems that the show runners do anything they can to disappoint the fans of the comic book series.

It would be neat and Madison having a daughter could have tied in nicely, especially considering Alicia is older than Carl would have been. Carl himself looked older than his comic counterpart but could have passed as being younger than Alicia, considering he literally is in reality.

I couldn't see Alicia and Carl being a thing though lol

Yeah but the love story can easily be scrapped, only keeping Madison/Alpha and maybe have Alicia stay with Rick and co. because she don't approve the way her mother acts (after so many tragedies like losing her son and Travis) and her new lifestyle.

It's a fanboy dream that will probably never happen!

I hate theses Timeline Changes during Season 4. I like the Part in the Present, but the Past Timeline is a bit boring. Yes it keeps the Present mysterious, but still I don't like it

The back and forth makes the episodes harder to follow for me.

That's what killed Arrow for me--all the back-and-forth--but it doesn't really bother me on FTWD. Been enjoying the season so far minus that shock a few eps back. The solo Dorie episode was pretty good. I heard there's no new episode this weekend due to the holiday, so that's a bummer.

I don't understand why they didn't do the flashbacks for the first half of the season and then the present day scenes for the back half. If there isn't enough material to spread these flashbacks out over the course of 8 episodes each, then why not do the first 4 and last 4 of the first half? That way the back half of season 4 can be all present day material.

Why did Alicia shoot John? I rewatched the episode with my dad an hour ago and he asked me and I had no idea why myself.

My wife and I just marathoned the snot out of this show and are now caught up.

I really want to see how everyone got off the dam and got back together only to reach the stadium.

In the latest episode, Strand mentions that Madison found everyone - and even found Luciana and stayed in a cave?? I hope there is more to that part of the story than just that. Not that it matters anymore,

Season 4 is taking some getting used to. I don't mind the time shifts, but after three seasons, the tonal change is jarring. The time shifts themselves remind me of Lost... instead of the "Past" or "Present" title cards, they should do what Lost did and use a sound (in Lost's case an airplane) to announce to the view they are switching time frames. So, FTWD could use a zombie snarl, right???
