lol, not really, maybe about a hundred or so decent titles on netflix. the rest are pure sh1t

and as for affording it.. that's what we're saying streaming is worth.. disposable throwaway watching..without in our hands full ownership on the best quality medium , it's just about WORTHLESS to us. I'd rather watch a torrent than actually PAY money for streaming

lol you really are a joke ... ah well, at least we have your posts on this page for entertainment value... it's like pagemaster part two

So a hundred or so movies and a ton of excellent TV shows like Archer, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Sherlock, American Horror Story, Burn Notice, Battlefield Galactica, Fringe, Warehouse 13, The Glades, etc etc etc.

without in your hand ownership they mean nothing...and those 100 or so titles included tv shows.. there isn't that many good shows on there that I would watch more than once.

Pst, don't want to own them. Might watch once, like on HBO or Showtime. I see something I like, such as The Crazies remake, I might pick it up on BD.

for us owning is EVERYTHING. without ownership it holds no value in our eyes...I'd rather buy them and have them in the best quality possible. I didn't spend $15,000 on a home theater to accept lower quality products

Netflix is terrible when it comes to movies. They haven't had a decent selection in movies since they lost their deal with Starz and even then it wasn't the best it could have been. My family has had Netflix streaming for four years now and I can tell you it has been used much more for TV shows the past 3 years than it has for movies.

Sounds like Madison Ave has worked their magic on you. Oh and Mad Men is on Netflix too.

In order to communicate with slick will require you to shift to another level which I doubt you will do . It has been my experience that if the receiving party “does not get it” then you will never succeed in getting then to understand. Never understood why some folks ramble on when most everyone is at them.

I'm a dedicated movie lover. I don't limit myself to only watching content on Blu-ray, I watch TV and streaming movies. I watch content not on Blu-ray. You could more accurately call me a movie buff or TV lover. When it comes to TV, I like to watch when its relevant, sharing the experience on social media. I don't want to wait months for season 2 of House of Cards. I certainly won't want to wait for the 4 Marvel series Dish is going to get. And I buy movies or shows on Blu-ray I really like. I don't have to see a movie at a higher bit rate to enjoy it. But if I really enjoy it, I will buy it as much of the extra content as anything. I've discovered movies on NetFlix that weren't available to purchase or rent in the U.S. at the time and that prompted me to buy the Blu-ray. Examples of that at the time are Flame and Citron and The Red Baron.

You and your snickering buddies miss out on a lot of quality content by limiting your viewing to Blu-ray, but that's your choice, just like coming up with juvenile names and posts.

Yeah, just like when someone posts in a thread about something other than the topic in the thread title. I suppose we all have to put up with juvenile...*Oooops*...I mean, childish behavior.

Rick and I? Buddies?

Well, I certainly don't limit myself to bluray. I have Apple TV, netflix, ps4 and ps3 for bbc iplayer and satellite tv with sports package. What do I do when I want to watch Avatar, Terminator, dark knight or for that matter, any movie that excites me remotely? I turn to the big guns! Bluray lock and load!
