Haha, a strangle works too

I havent played Collection yet (Is it any good?)
And Hero was confusing to me, I didn't know how to get much points, or what the objective even was!

the goal of hero is to kill as many people as the hero or kill the hero on the other team to get points so the more kills as hero the more points you get, so you can kill all the people you want when not in hero mode its not gonna do you any good point wise to win the game.

Hero was okay when I played it at first but I'm back to a nearly full-time CTF player now I had a PR yesterday, 178 points in one game I had two flag caps and a slew of ribbons but obviously the bonus points helped . That game also pushed me over the 15,000 point mark so I got promoted to seargent major! 92 hours in and this game only gets better, can't wait for the trophy patch.

I tried to join a few people yesterday in Warhawk - you all need to get out of those rank limited servers!!! One of the drawbacks of getting "promoted".

Yeah, they need to hurry up with the trophy patch and the new expansion pack.

I'm actually getting kind of annoyed playing lately. Everybody keeps switching teams. I'll be playing a game and maybe their team gets the first flag cap, and instead of playing the game, everybody either switches (figuring the other team will continue to win on this map and the others) or they leave the server) - before you know it; you have only 6 people on your team and the other team has captured all the bases and getting flag capture after flag capture.

I usually equip my knife (so I'm off the radar) and go out on foot through the hills to capture a zone. I usually capture a few before I get killed and the zones get taken back over. Not much you can do when 3 planes are all around you with machine guns and bombs and TOW missles.

And I still seem to have the incredibly bad luck of always being on the team with ZERO flyers. I played with AlphaPyro for a bit, he was on the team with flyers. We had none. There was no balance to the game. The odds of one team getting tons of flyers - or all the good players; should be small, yet it seems to happen in almost every game I'm in. Even when I'm on the winning team that is crushing I don't like it. I get bored.

I really think the 50 point system has encourage team switching to the point of damaging the game play. Think of a sports game - what would happen if people started switching during the middle of a game cause the other team was winning - AND the team didn't get replacement players. It is really taking the fun out of the game for me.

are you playing in offical servers or player official servers? I thought they took out team switch in the official ones a few patches back.

One of the recent patches has brought team switching back to the official servers

I thought a team switch nullified the 50 points you can collect. It only counts if you play on the same team. At least I thought that's what Dylan said in the initial statements.

You do not get "Team Points" if you swith in the middle of a game, or join in the middle of a game. Correct.

However, I believe people are team switching for a few reasons.

1. They don't like to lose.
2. If they get on the winning team on this match, they have a good/better chance of being on the winning team for the next map and will get the 50 extra points then.
3. They don't realize they aren't going to get the 50 points.

I was actually on a server that had changed the "Welcome to Warhawk" message to "Don't Switch!!!".

It has gotten out of hand. I'm tired of ending a match with only 6 people left on my team.

I think they need to take the team switching option back out of the official servers. I like it, but people are abusing it. If you want to play with your buddies, make a room and allow team switching.

It's really, really putting a damper on this game for me. I may concentrate on Soul Calibur 4 and Drake Fortune - at least until the next expansion pack comes out. (Never thought the day would come that I would put other games higher on my priority list to play - but it's really gone down hill for me. It seems like every game and has lost some of it's fun. It's a sad day for one of Warhawk's biggest fans. )

the game is starting to go down hill, its like teh more they try to make it better the worse it gets, they had a really good thing going, i wish things were the the same as when teh game started now that was good times.

ye, its getting pretty bad... yesterday I saw so many games where people on my team would switch to the other team and bomb the hell out of us just to win, I liturally had 4 or 5 people chasing me in Warhawks at one point.

Community Building Trophies
These trophies encourage supporting or participating in the community at large, including:
- Bandwidth Donor: Host a ranked dedicated server for four consecutive hours.
- Rivalry: Win a clan match (red server) as either clan leader or a regular member.

Game Mode Trophies
These trophies are based on specific game modes, such as:
- Lone Wolf: Play a perfect Deathmatch (first place, no deaths).
- Survivalist: Survive for one minute as the hero in Hero mode.


Vehicle Trophies
These trophies are awarded for exemplary performance with vehicles. These include:
- Taxi Driver: Help a teammate capture the flag (in Capture the Flag) or cores (in Collection) by transporting him back to the base, using any vehicle.
- One In A Million: Shoot down an enemy aircraft using the tank’s main cannon.

Warhawk Weapons Trophies
These trophies are awarded for exemplary performance with Warhawk weapons, such as:
- How Did You Do That?: Destroy an enemy aircraft with a Cluster Bomb.
- Tail Shaker: Destroy an enemy aircraft with an Aerial Mine within five seconds of deploying it.

There are also Trophies specific to Omega Dawn and Broken Mirror booster packs, as well as a number of hidden Trophies across all the sub-categories, so there’s plenty to keep you blasting away for a long time.

As well as PlayStation Trophies integration, this new update also supports custom music tracks from the Home Menu, 20 new aircraft paint schemes and 50 new insignias selected from the SCEE paint schemes and insignias contest, and a set of playable training tutorials to help new players learn and practice before going online to do battle.
