Been on our list for a while now (we are big music fans) and my lady got killer deals on flights and an awesome hotel so we went for it. Labor Day weekend, the opening weekend of college football and the University of Texas is like 3 miles away from downtown Austin. I'm not a big CFB fan, but I gotta admit that it's fun being around a buncha amped up football fans. Should be a kick ass time.

Thanks. Kid's got an horrible immune system, seems like she's always getting sick. Fortunately her fever finally broke, and she finally fell asleep about an hour ago.

Forgot how much I enjoy listening to jazz while trying to concentrate at work...I threw on some upbeat Miles Davis and dug into some spreadsheet-type activities and it helps so much. It seems to invigorate my brain but at the same time keeps me focused.

I just killed a wasp that got into the house and now I feel bad about it. I hate killing it but I was afraid my cat would find it and get stung or eat it and get sick.

i don't ever feel bad about killing those damn things.

we have a LOT of them around here. and they are damn mean. i've had them actually chase me. so when i see one, it soon becomes a dead one.

Watching OSU @ Indiana. I'm not a CFB guy but it's kinda nice to have meaningful football on regardless of what it is.
