Default How about a road warrior remake

Just a thought since we are in the era of remakes, i think a remake of The Road Warrior would be great if george miller approved but what i would like to know is who some of you think would play a great role as mad max. My choice would be Russell Crowe.

I doubt Crowe could equal Gibson in this.

I hope not Road Warrior is one of my top 10 movies of all time, I hate when they remake classic movies.

Stop remakes already! Hollywood is getting pathetic. How about something original for once. No wonder I don't go to the movies as often anymore. It is all crap for the most part.

No. The Road Warrior is perfect as it is, no need to be re-made or re-imagined.

You can't remake this, everyone was perfect in this movie - the gyro captain, the animal kid with the boomerrang, Lord Humongous, the mowhawk biker guy with the assless chaps, Mad Max.... PERFECT.

I'd love a new installment though. If they made another Mad Max and another Evil Dead before I die I'll be a happy man.

my question would be WHY?

I am all for remakes/reimagings if they can bring something new to the table..however in this case..the only direction a remake of this near perfect film can go is south

How about... the powers that be in Hollywood pull their heads out of their collective a$$es and stop trying to dry-hump the cash-cow of terrible remakes?

They basically already did with Doomsday. You should check it out. It's one hell of a blast!

How about an animated version? Sort of like they did to the Matrix franchise.
