Body Heat - Blu-ray Forum

I watched body heat on encore action last nite and thought it looked BAD. I know its an older film and is susposed to look that way in a sense but i love this film and want to see it on BLU. Does anyone hear own the blu ray copy and if so could you give me your thoughts?

quite frankly I thought this movie might look horrible on blu-ray with
the smoky photography and heavy filters but I was very pleasantly
surprised-- I was very happy with the blu-ray of this classic film

I noticed that the Criterion Channel twitter account mentioned this would be coming to Film Struck. Any thoughts on if this is getting an official Criterion release? Would be a good one

Body Heat looks like PURE film on Blu-ray. Film grain intact and the image looks natural - just like it should. Not all movies can look like eye candy my friend.
