I would say the Panny. Its larger and although I'm sure that LG is pretty good since I've read up on it over on AVSforum I would take plasma over LCD in most cases. Since these TV's both go for around the same price I think its a no brainer. On a side note, how do you like that new LG plasma? I've seen them in Sear's but the bright lighting is so bad that I can't really make a good assessment. My mother got one of the new models a few weeks back, but so much sunlight was coming in the house when I looked at it I still couldn't get a good idea of how the blacks were. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

if i was in your shoes, i'd go for the bigger screen since they are comprably priced.

assuming the LG is not a local dimming LED, i'd take the panny v10. If the LG is local dimming, it's a flip of a coin really but i'd still probably chose the v10 still.

It is a local dimming set, but I'd still go with the Panny too plus its bigger.
