Recommendations for BD-ROM - Blu-ray Forum

Hello,

My first post here and I'm looking for advice from the Blu-Ray experts on what would be the best BD-ROM / Combo to buy for a custom built desktop?

I've been looking at drives by LG, Pioneer and Lite-On, but they all seem to focus on the recordable ones and how fast they can write etc. I'm more interested in getting one that is really reliable and will offer the best quality for playback.

well, drives have nothing to do with quality...they simply play the disc.

What makes the "quality" is your processor, software, graphic card ...etc'

As for reliable? I like to look at user reviews on newegg.com...they are usually honest and fairly accurate.

I have the LG Bluray Burner drive, which I give it a score of A+. I have not had a single issue yet.
