Default Sony LCD Gave Me A Scare

So I came home from shopping for blus and turned on my 52" Sony Bravia LCD. To my horror, the left side of the screen had the DirecTV guide and info bar blurred into the background, even when I switched inputs. I thought after a year and four months I'd have to call in my four year warranty. Then I remembered reading about how stuck pixels could be the result of parts pressing against the back of the screen, so I walked over to the stand and rocked the television back and forth. All of a sudden, BOOM! Problem solved. Five hours later and all is well. Strange thing is no one could have messed with the set while I was away, so how could this have happened? Have any of you ever heard of something like this before? It's a new one for me, and I'm thanking God for saving me who knows how long without my HD!

How could something be pressing against it? Perhaps something is broke in there that keeps things in place or something?

Agreed. I'd call in the warranty and call it an "intermittent" problem.

I think calling it in and asking exactly how something like that could happen is the route I'll take. I can't make sense of it no matter how hard I try.
