Default Sony Gave Up Formula 1 License, Codemasters Picks It Up

The reason why they gave it up. Formula 1 boss wanted a hefty increase on the previous 75 million deal.

Codemasters picks it up. Looking to expand their racing catalog.

Well, at least it'll still have the realism involved with Codies other games.

Typical, these ridiculous increase in fees is the reason we no longer have Formula 1 in America

Conceptually the A1 is better. The cars have the same design and engine spec but it is up to the driver's skill that can win the race.

I'm pleased, although it means F1 is no longer exclusive it does mean hopefully a fresh start for the sport. Codemasters make fantastic racing games so it is in good hands. I'm looking forward to this.

I picked up a brand new copy of Formula 1 PS3 at my local Goodwill , brand new un opened, for $9.99 then sold it at our local game trader for $25.00, are goodwill rocks, it's right next to our Wal-Mart, so they get all the stuff Wal-Mart can't sell, donated, Wal-Mart probably gets a real big tax cut for it
