Default Which Do You like Collecting More? TV Shows or Movies on Blu-Ray

I am a toss up in between buying blu-ray movies right now or catching up on the ton of season sets of Shows I am behind. Right now I think I will complete all the tv series I haven't finished yet then go collect more movies on blu-ray.

I have to complete my collection of TV Shows for

24 ( need 4 and 5)
The Dead Zone ( need 2 - 6 )
The Jamie Kennedy Experiment (need 2 - 3)
Joey (need Season 2)
Married With Children (need 2 - 11 )
One Tree Hill (need 1 - 4, Season 6)
Punk'd (need Season 2)
The Simpson( need 2 - 8, 10,11,12)
Smallville (need Season 8 blu-ray)

After I catch up with this I will start to collect more movies on blu-ray.

What do you prefer collecting more? TV Shows or Movies on Blu-Ray?

The answer to this should be obvious considering I only have 3 seasons and Band of Brothers on blu-ray. TV shows are expensive enough as it is so I have to really like the show to get the more expensive blu-ray set.

Movies. As much as I enjoy tv shows, most have very little replay value to me.

I personally like collecting movies more than a TV series..

My movies I'll look at right away where if I get a TV series, it will just sit until I get around to it.

I'm not a TV watcher, really. Sports are about it, if at all. Complete shows have come and gone and I have completely missed them...lol. I love movies, though, and all my BD selections are movies.

All TV shows that liked are not on blu-ray. I don't think there will be any advantage of watching them on blu-ray either.

I vote for movies because TV shows are too time consuming to watch. It's better to have a lot of shelf space dedicated to a variety of different movies rather than using it all up to buy several seasons of the same show.

The Twilight Zone is the only TV show in my collection, and there are few others on my wishlist, so movies for me.

I'm kinda split between the two. For me, it depends on how I feel. Do I just want brief, subtle development of the story or do I want to watch an elaborate production and the time I would need to invest in it? I also find good repeatability in TV series, which runs contrary to what many of you have said, but there's a lot of material there for me to absorb. I would pit a good TV series against a good movie any day, Band of Brothers or Firefly, for instance...

Movies.

TV shows are more of a time comitment, which is something I can't afford all of the time. Plus, many do not have a lot of replay value for me. The ones that I can watch often without being a big time sink (ie: episodic or story arcs < 1 season) are the ones I buy. Typically those are sitcoms (That 70s show, Simpsons, Futurama, Venture Bros), but I have a few 'drama' shows that I like (Rome, Star Trek: TOS, Firefly). I just don't want to feel I have to watch 100+ episodes of a series everytime I want to watch a TV show.

Movies for me. Although I have been trying to knock out my TV shows lately. Almost finished Firefly (AWESOME SHOW) and just started Mad Men (). I do have a lot of movies to get through.

Movies. I seldom by TV shows anymore and got rid of some I had on DVD. All I still have are Arrested development, Scrubs, Boomtown and Firefly.

It's just too much of a time investment to rewatch entire series--and I'm mainly into serial dramas like Lost where you really have to do that. I'm not much into watching single favorite episodes etc.

So I just don't get much replay value out of them. Hard enough to find time to watch a couple movies a week these days, much less whole TV seasons/series.
