For example I like Star Trek TOS seasons on Blu-Ray very much but I kinda take it like a whole new experience in many different ways. I will explain a little further. These tv shows were designed to be watched on ntsc tvs so we have never seen them in high resolutions like 1080p and lossless digital audio. We (at least I ) kind of absorbed them in old fashion NTSC quality. Now when I watch an episode on laserdisc or dvd its just like how I watched it first time except a bigger screen(I had a smaller tv back then
