Default TV Shows/Movies you enjoy watching on Blu-Ray and DVDs?

For example I like Star Trek TOS seasons on Blu-Ray very much but I kinda take it like a whole new experience in many different ways. I will explain a little further. These tv shows were designed to be watched on ntsc tvs so we have never seen them in high resolutions like 1080p and lossless digital audio. We (at least I ) kind of absorbed them in old fashion NTSC quality. Now when I watch an episode on laserdisc or dvd its just like how I watched it first time except a bigger screen(I had a smaller tv back then and this pleases me in a different way than the new bluray releases. For this reason I want to keep all my laserdiscs and dvds of such tv shows and maybe some movies too.

any of you feel the same way?

I found Star Trek TOS boring when watching it on TV, but now I have it on BD, I really enjoy it. I put it down to the bad picture quality of the TV signal/tape that put me off.
