Default Warning of a recycled blu ray box for x-men origins wolverine

I remember the movie Silence of the Lambs had a recycled box and that pissed a lot of people off, including me.
The box is weak, and really, is just an excuse for the company to make a cheaper box. Come on guys, whether you are environmentally conscious or not, a few ounces of plastic doesn't matter!

I was originally going to buy this movie even with the bad reviews, but I'm not going to buy it now. We have to say no to these cheap boxes. Companies need to learn that being environmental, doesn't mean we need to pay more for something, pay a deposit, pay recycling charges (for example our tv), and should not destroy the quality of our blu ray collections!!!!!

I don't think the Eco cases are really title dependent. My Quantum of Solace came in one, but I know a lot of people's didn't. There's also a million page thread on Eco cases already

I guess it's just cause I'm really pissed that I buy a blu ray and it has these holes in them.... They aren't cheap, and it's a bad surprise. I hope we get to know which ones won't have these boxes.

I can usually tell by the weight of the case. Also, if you put some pressure on the back of the case with your finger you can feel if there are holes in it.

if you take care of ur blurays the right way then there should be no issue. i got a few and it's not noticeable unless you open it up to play the movie. ppl are just babies over little things i guess. or maybe i'm just laid back lol

I have no problem with the environmentally conscious cases on their own. However I do have a problem with the studios using them to cut their costs but still charging us as if it's a regular case. That's just lame.

I found my

Big Trouble in Little China
Cutthroat Island

came in eco cases.

For those who are unclear on eco cases, it looks just like a regular blu ray cases, but when you open it up there are holes in the blue plastic of the cover in the shape of the universal recycling symbol, with the three arrows.

Thanks for the "warning". We really need people to create more threads about this crap to warn us of the unexpected studio cheapery that has all the sudden come out of no where. How could they rob us of the plastic??!!! That should definitely be the tipping point for anyone on the fence about buying this movie!

No, I don't like the cases, but how ridiculous....?!

Thumbs up

I don't mind about ECO case Blu-ray. If you doesn't like this ECO case, replace a blu-ray case. in RECYCLING.

PLEASE DO NOT THROW IN TRASH BAG
