Hey guys, i know this is a long shot but i need to ask it,
So i have a standalone Sony S550 blu-ray player and a Panasonic PT860 DVD home cinema kit, What i have been doing is i have been running an optical connection between the two so my blu-ray movies have 5.1 sourround sound, Now the only problem with this is the panasonic home cinema kit will not decode DTS over optical so in essence when i am playing a DTS blu-ray i am not getting true surround (Im using the pro logic II decoder so i get audio out of all the speakers) So here comes the question, panasonic have a blu-ray home cinema kit for sale, The SC-BT205 (link), Now it uses the exact same speakers (same connection etc) so basicly my question is this, Does anyone know if there is anyway i can get the blu-ray player on its own, that way i wont need to buy the speakers etc Thanks Craig Last edited by Craig02; 09-20-2009 at 07:58 PM. |

Silly question probably, but have you tried calling Panasonic?
