Okay so i have a Panasonic TH-50PZ85U hooked with a Panasonic DMP-BD30 blu-ray player. I have the blu-ray hooked up to reciever via hdmi. The reciever is hdmi monitor out 1 to the 1st hdmi port of the tv. All hdmis run through the reciever. Apparently, i have an HDCP handshake problem. When i watch blu rays the picture goes black for a second or two. I had returned the blu ray player and got another one and same thing. Before you guys jump and say it's the tv, which i have a feeling it is, is there any steps i could take maybe to get the handshake to agree?
By the way, this occurs if it's at the blu-ray backround or the movie is playing. If there is no way to fix it, is this the only negative that the screen flashes? What could cause the HDCP handshake? Is there any test that could tell me what the problem is? Last edited by HDFan101; 01-21-2010 at 01:52 AM. |
